This was a great experience for our night in Umm Qais. The owner was born and raised in Umm Qais, so he can tell you all about the ancient Roman and Ottoman city, its artefacts, and give you some tips for the area. The breakfast was great - everything local and even some treats from his fruit trees!

We had the opportunity to experience authentic Jordanese-Palestinian continue through home-cooked meals for breakfast and dinner in a nearby place. You meet with real people that care for you because they really do, not because their job requires it. Very authentic experience. Don't forget to go for dinner at Bein Ne'la's place and try some of the delicious homemade marmalades from citrusy fruits they made. Umm Qais archeological site is within 10 minutes of walking distance and the view of Golan heights is amazing.

Located just 29 km from Al Yarmok University, Beit Philodemus features accommodation in Umm Qays with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Owner is very well behaved...he made tea for us by himself....we got warm welcome by his daughter which was very much cordial....we asked for home made food and he cooked for maklouba and beef cofta and he dined with us also which was a very good expereince we ever had.......Overall experience was very good....we recommend this homestay/ hotel for staying at Umm qais....Thank you Ahmed for great hoapitality..

Offering a garden and city view, ORJAN VIEW is situated in Irjān, 13 km from Ajloun Castle and 27 km from Ruins of Jerash. This guest house features free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. We stayed for one night and were so happy with our stay. The main thing that made it so nice were the hosts, they were so kind and attentive. It feels a bit like a home stay with a family which we really liked, and their garden is beautiful as well as the breakfast they made us.

We had the house to ourselves, clean and quiet. Two BR on main floor and two full BA. One BA on main floor and one a few steps down. Individual air-heat units kept the house comfortable (it was hot in Oct when we were there). Washing machine in kitchen. The house was being updated and did not effect our stay, but will possibly make it even nicer for future stays.
