Guesthouse SHIGI ligger i Nakatsugawa, 46 km fra Gero Station, 24 km fra Ōi og 24 km fra Enakyo Wonderland. Dette pensionat har gratis privat parkering, fælles køkken og gratis wi-fi. I loved everything about this place. Absolutely the highlight of my trip. And funny enough, there was no other guests so I had the whole place to myself! The town is very cute and the house is just incredible. It had everything a person could ask for in an accommodation. Everything works perfectly. The design is very beautiful. The house is even more beautiful in real life. I will never forget it. I think I told Assi how much I loved it too many times :) Assi was the most helpful host, he was very friendly, curious to know about my trip, he even picked me up from the station when I unfortunately missed the train. And dropped me off to the bus stop when I wanted to visit the near village. I hope to visit it again in future. Thank you again, thank you very much.

Toraya ligger i Gero, 48 km fra Takayama Station og 49 km fra Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village. Der er fælles opholdsstue og rolig gadeudsigt. 10 min form the train station, located at the river, and close to main shops. Short walk uphill to the Ghasso Village. Very accommodating English speaking staff. We tried the private onsen for 4000 Yen and it was fabulous! Very clean, big rooms with nice energy.

Guest House Motomiya ligger i Magome-kvarteret i Nakatsugawa, 20 km fra Enakyo Wonderland og 40 km fra landsbyen Japan Taisho. Der tilbydes rolig gadeudsigt og fælles opholdsstue. Supervenlig og gæstfri værtinde. Vi følte os virkelig velkommen, og hun tilbragte meget tid med fx at lære os origami. Fantastisk flot og velsmagende mad. Stilfuldt japansk hjem.

Guest House Hinode har bjergudsigt og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis cykler, have og fælles opholdsstue, ca. 2,6 km fra Takayama Station. The room is super comfortable for a cheap price. There's also a comfy lounge room that has TV and other entertainment. The kitchen has microwave, refridgerator etc, so we bought our own food, heat it up in microwave and ate in the lounge room. The host is very friendly and always ready to help. After we check out, he immediately went to clean the room. The parking lot is big.

Guesthouse Nedoko ligger i Nakatsugawa, 21 km fra Ōi og 21 km fra Enakyo Wonderland. Der er bjergudsigt. Great little guesthouse! The location is perfect, the staff very helpful and booked an amazing dinner for us.

Guesthouse Gifu SUAI ligger i Gifu, 29 km fra Nagoya Slot og 30 km fra Nagoya Station, og har udsigt til haven og den indre gårdhave. Hosts are friendly, warm, accomodating and attentive. Very clean and homely. Lively pets around, which was a welcomed change :) A 30 min walk from Gifu JR, hosts happily dropped us to the station at checkout. I believe you can organise pick up and drop off with the host. Regardless, a 30 min walk on flat ground is completely possible and should not deter anyone. However there is a local line which is 13 min walk from the house.

Itomori blev bygget i 2018 og ligger 7 minutters gang fra JR Takayama Station. Takayamas gamle bydel ligger 6 minutters gang derfra, og Takayama Jinya ligger 10 minutters gang derfra. Excellent location, close to everything but still quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well.
