The beds are pretty firm and the noise in the morning is pretty loud but if you want to experience life as a local then this is the best way to do it. You will need to pay $5pp to enter the village. We got a tuk tuk from Siem Reap using the Grab app. The guesthouse can also provide transport.

Nestled amidst a private garden fitted with a terrace, Uncle Sam Villa offers quiet accommodation in the heart of Siem Reap. The location is really good, 5 minutes by foot from the Pub Street. The staff is really kind and polite. They were always super helpful when we had any questions. Breakfast was good and always served with fresh fruits. The room was great and the bed really comfortable. Our trip was excellent thanks to our tuk tuk driver, Thearo. He was extremely kind, always smiling and super friendly. We spent two days visiting the temples, and also went to the floating village with him. We really recommend him, his WhatsApp number is +855 16 665 675.

Siem Reap Comforts Boutique & Hostel is a budget room with an independent room and a private bathroom, but the price is the price of a shared youth hostel, with high cost performance and large space;... The location was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The spa was also very clean and the staff were good. While the pool might be small compared to larger hotels, it was a good size given the space available. The food and drink options were also very large.

Passport Villa is located in Steung Thmey Village, within walking distance to Siem Reap’s Old Market, Night Market and other shopping and dining options. It feels like staying with family. Very friendly.

Everything was excellent, and I only wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is set back from the road, and walking in feels like a relaxing retreat from the city. Hanging out in the pool and bar area after a hot day exploring temples, with a delicous cocktail, is just perfection. The staff were all friendly and very helpful The cabana we stayed in was just the right size, with a firm but comfortable bed - and very good AC. The bathroom was spacious and beautifully designed. I was a little skeptical when booking because of the low price, but everything was great. If I get the chance to go back, I'm not going to waste time looking at other hotels and just book here!

We love the accessibility with Meta, this is one of these host you’re really happy to meet in your life when you’re traveling! The little house is lost in the middle of wonderful rice fields and let you the occasional to be completely alone. We love our stay and hope we’ll have the chance to comeback and see Meta and his family again!

Fabulous place, beautiful well-equipped, spacious room and lovely outside seating area, great pool and attentive owners. Wish I'd had more time to spend just at the hotel! Conveniently located between Siem Reap center and Angkor Wat. Possibility to cycle there using the hotel's free bicycles available. Can highly recommend everything about this hotel and give it more than 10/10 if I could. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sitoh and husband for such a lovely stay!
