Xuanmai Garden Resort is a 15-minute drive from Pakse’s centre. Guests can enjoy their meals at the on-site restaurant. The staff clearly loves to take care of the resort and its guests. Very warm and friendly people, makes the stay so much more comfortable, plus they cook each meal with extra dedication.

The location is amazing, the view of the river at sunset! Also relative to everything, it’s close enough to town walk but far away yo not hear noise! The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful!

A very nice family run guest house right next to the Mekong with a view from the poolside deck downstream to the old French railway bridge. Our room was at the front facing the river and had a nice balcony with a small table and deck chairs. The large pool was kept clean the entire time we were there. The owner was warm and welcoming and has good English so was able to help with enquiries and onward bookings. She also produced delicious inexpensive home cooked Lao meals and had a good supply of essentials such as cold beer. This is really good value accommodation, not luxury, but perfectly comfortable and everything you need. We were booked to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 6. Highly recommended.

The person that handles the property is amazing, struggling a little bit with the English but he will definitely try to help you with your questions. The food is amazing as well and the restaurant is on the river, perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast!

Located in Ban Dondét and surrounded by greenery, BABA Guesthouse offers rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Rooms come with a balcony with a garden or river view, a fan and a seating area. The location of the room is particularly conveniently close to get the basic needs around, being centrally located yet avoiding the hustle and bustle. The basic furnishings and high quality management and very perfect cleanliness on such an isolated island gave us the best comfort on our trip here. The view from the balcony has a special sense of local significance and beauty.
