Got a free upgrade to the best room I ever had 🤩🤩 very modern equipment, clean, hot water and wifi was working fine. Awesome host taking care of everything, gave me an adapter because mine wasn't working. I had a huge, home cooked Sri Lankan breakfast, also the best I ever had. Thanks a lot for making my stay awesome! 🫶🏼

Situated in Nanu Oya and only 7.8 km from Gregory Lake, Ansi Villa features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. If you’re travelling to Nanuoya, I highly recommend Ansi Villa. The family were so warm and welcoming, providing tea and cake on arrival, and cooking the BEST Sri Lankan breakfast (which was included). The room was perfect - clean with a very comfortable bed and excellent Wi-Fi. The location is fantastic. Only a 10 minute walk to the train station. The best hospitality and great value for money.

Medalin Lake Gregory is a guest house situated in the Lake Gregory district of Nuwara Eliya. This is THE place to stay in Nuwara Eliya. When we arrived we were greeted with the warmest welcome from our host and his family. The room we were in was absolutely stunning, big comfortable bed and beautiful views of the lake! Our host provided fresh coffee for us when we arrived and every morning after that. Nothing was too much for them!

A real-life fairytale ✨️ friendly, calm atmosphere and staff. Beautiful inside and out! Comfy bed. Felt like home. Didn't want to leave this place!! It was so incredible!

Garden area was lovely to look at on while having breakfast. Two separate bedrooms each had their own bathroom plus a communal lounge and kitchen area.

Located 1.9 km from Gregory Lake, THE EDGWARE offers 3-star accommodation in Nuwara Eliya and features a garden. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. We’ve had a very pleasant stay here - mainly because the staff was one of the friendliest we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far! We had an issue in our room that was completely out of their control and they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Special shout-out to the manager who even cleaned our rental car because he couldn’t let us continue driving with a dirty windshield! The breakfast was lovely and was served outside. ☀️ thanks for everything!

The hosts go absolve and beyond and make you feel like family! This place is a real gem I would not hesitate to book this place again and would not stay anywhere else in Nuwara Eliya.

Boasting garden views, woods hut features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.4 km from Gregory Lake. Chithra, Wasantha, and their darling son Rashi are very special people. The home is infused with their love and joy. If you are accustomed to staying in swank hotels do not be put off by the basic furnishing. The bed is extremely comfortable with cozy blankets, the view is spectacular, the place is spotless and the shower is warm (a rarity in Sri Lanka). The bedding smelled like soap and sunshine. Chithra and Wasantha were professional cleaners in Dubai. — Don’t miss Chithra’s dinners. She’s one of the best cooks I’ve ever met. Everyone tells her she should write a cookbook - and she should. When the tuktuk wound up the steep hill to drop me off at their home at the top, it seemed far away from town. It’s not!!! Chithra showed me a shortcut. It’s an easy path down to the town and back up. It’s not as steep as it looks. It was an easy 10 minute walk down to town and maybe a 15 minute walk back up. I enjoyed getting to know Chithra and family so I engaged them but I was the one who had to initiate that. The family’s default is to leave guests alone. Wasantha was going to take me on a couple hikes in the woods but it rained heavily so I skipped it. I would like to do it next time. I really cannot praise this place enough. I fell in love with this pure hearted family, slept better than I have in a long time, and relished Chithra’s delicious meals. I look forward to returning with friends and family. Five stars all around for this special place.
