Very beautiful property in the middle of nature with nice pool. Bungalow was very nice and the outdoor bathroom was really cool. Staff was friendly and attentive. We booked safari through the hotel and we can not be more happy as we had wonderful driver/guide Madura. He is very knowledgeable, he knew how to find lot of different birds and animals and took us close to elephants. He is also very good driver, we felt safe (we had toddler with us) and had great time with Madura.

We’ve been travelling in Sri Lanka for a month and this has been our absolute favourite accommodation! The young couple who own it go above and beyond, they are so kind and thoughtful - from welcome drinks on arrival to dropping us off at restaurants and refusing to accept any money for the journey. The room is lovely, clean, has strong WiFi and AC and a super handy minbar with great snacks. The breakfast is so nice, lots of fresh fruit and traditional Sri Lankan options. Would definitely recommend eating in their restaurant for lunch or dinner too. We ate out at different restaurants a few times in the town and the food was no where near as good.

Located in Udawalawe, 10 km from Udawalawe National Park, Forest Edge Safari Villa provides air-conditioned rooms and a garden. Room very very spacious, clean, all new items. The owner very friendly. Breakfast very delicious

Located 12 km from Udawalawe National Park, Mango Tree House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. A continental breakfast is available daily at the guesthouse. Clean and comfortable bungalow with great AC on a small property where the owners also live. What makes the stay so special are the owners, Sachith and his wife (and a cuddly Labrador) who go out of their way to help and service their clients. They are very sweet and communicative. The two dinners we had were delicious and with great variation (we are vegetarian, they catered perfect to this) The safari was awesome and our transfers well arranged. Would strongly recommend if you want a homestay experience with your own comfortable unit. Taking a shower while watching the monkeys and flying foxes only added to the experience 🥰

The owner is very helpful. The place is beautiful very cozy very quiet and in excellent location. The food is the best one we tried in Sri Lanka. We took the Safari with the owner and was the best experience. The rooms very clean and with all the necessary thing. Super recommended.

Set within 8 km of Udawalawe National Park, The Elephant Next-Door in Udawalawe features a number of amenities including a garden. Room was very nice, everything was beautiful, Janaka is very caring and thoughtful. We also at diner there, the curry was excellent and very good value for money.

We saw alot of peacock, monkey, water Buffalo.
