Isabella and Gabriel were very friendly, helpful and gracious hosts. The room was clean and modern. The kitchenette was perfect for us - we made espresso every morning and cut fresh fruit. The location (near le Diamant) is close to many attractions on the south side of the island. The pool and water slide were fun, but we like to explore so we didn't spend much time there..

Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, yet not far from Fort-de-France, this chambre d'hote was wonderful. The bedroom was quite comfortable, and I appreciated the air-conditioning on hot days. Fabrice is a good cook, so I asked him to cook several dinners for me. It was great to come back to a home-cooked meal after a busy day of exploring. I also appreciated having access to his swimming pool, and a large deck where I could practice yoga in the morning. I also enjoyed conversing with the other guests who shared breakfast and dinner with me. I spent a full week at Havre de paix and felt quite "chez moi" by the end.

Boasting a garden and views of sea, Habitation Desrosiers is a recently renovated apartment situated in Les Trois-Îlets, 300 metres from Anse a l'Ane Beach. Everything was just perfect, from the airport pickup throughout the entire stay. The room: - Fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, dishes, dishwasher) - A “starter pack”: tea, coffee, jam, etc. a welcome bottle of planteur in the fridge + bonus pack: a baguette and a chocolate bread kindly brought by Cyril (the owner) on the first morning - TV, air conditioner - Amazing view from the micro-terrace - Cyril was always there to help or advise (in the first morning he also brought a big folding map and did an induction into “what”, “where”, “how”, marking landmarks, beaches, restaurants, etc. on it << we hardly managed to do half of it all) The surroundings: - Villa situated on the mid of a steep hill, from it you can see the beach that is at around 15 minutes’ walking distance - The beach is nice for swimming and sunbathing. Activities like snorkeling, diving, boat trips, etc – all available at the agents on the beach. - Restaurants: on the beach or downtown - Big supermarket: 20 minutes drive; pharmacy: 10 minutes drive Exploring the island: - I rented a Nissan Micra with the help of Cyril, everything was taken care of by him, on the first day the car waited for me in front of the property.
