Very nice, spacious, and clean room with modern ammenities. Owner was very welcoming and even provided fresh mangoes from the garden. Location was very easy to reach with a car and only a short drive from the wonderful Belle Mare beach. I wish I had stayed here more than one night. Overall one of the best accommations (out of 5) that we stayed in on the island. Would definitely recommend.

We had one of the best stays of our life at Casa Frangipani. The room was very comfortable and clean. It is very well equipped and very nicely decorated. The balcony is very pleasant. And then there is Kerstin, an incredibly amazing woman who does her best to welcome her guests in the best way. She is very attentive and makes her best to make you feel at home and to have the best stay on her island. And she’s also funny and very easy to talk to. She has very good advices, you can listen to her. We were always pleased with her recommandations. If you go to Mauritius, you have to go stay at Casa Frangipani in Trou d’Eau Douce. Thanks again for everything and stay as you are :)

It was the perfect location to relax next to the lake before our departure from the island. Very peaceful location with nice view and nature. When we booked, we were a bit concerned of mosquitoes due to its proximity to the lake, but we had no problem at all the 3 days we stayed there. The room was very spacious and clean, the personnel very friendly, and helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast was hearty, with many local products. Totally recommended!

The daily trip to the beach is great and the island is incredible. Beautiful and quiet beach with nothing and hardly any people. Your own quiet paradise but take some water/drinks with you as you can’t get anything that side of the island. Mountain biking trails about 200m up the road. Beautiful walks up the mountain to waterfalls. We will be back.
