Travelling as a single woman, it is imperative to find a safe place to stay, a place that follows up in the description of what is being offered and that will assist within reason when it comes to anything extra. Chikondje and her staff will do that - and then much more! A nice room with a comfortable bed, a great beakfast exactly as the picture shows, staff that will take you where you need to when needed, excurtions to the Chongoni rock painting area as well as the market - and, if course, to or from the airport; this was my first stay in Malawi, and I made sure it was my last. Highly recommended!!!

Just 10 minutes' drive from the centre of Lilongwe, Kumbali Country Lodge is situated on a 650-hectare forest reserve and dairy farm. The lodge has a garden with outdoor pool. A very comfortable and relaxing stay in a quiet rural location. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying again soon!!

We are so grateful to ASamson who always had a smile and always offered a helping hand even when we didn't need it 😊. My family were well looked after and it felt like I was at home. I was also super impressed with the respo se of the home manager who attended to all our concerns and offered solutions when in a sticky situation. Kudos to the whole team for being customer focused, listening and making changes as needed. Will definitely book again, my whole family loved the space and overall atmosphere.
