The property is 4 hours from Auckland. This is an amazing place to stay! Mike, the host was brilliant- very friendly and really helpful with regards to suggestions for restaurants and things to do and see in the area. Our room was lovely and had a great view over the bay. Very comfy bed and all the amenities that you need for your stay. Very fast Wi-Fi and one of the tastiest breakfasts that we have ever had at a B&B. Would highly recommend.

All rooms at Allegra House have spectacular sea views and space to sit outside. Air-conditioning, a TV, refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities and free WiFi are provided. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a shower. Location was excellent. I could walk into the town. It was quiet and had excellent views. The service was very personal and as a solo traveller I felt well cared for. The breakfast was excellent and hours flexible.

Absolute bliss and tranquility here. Birds song of the morning, peaceful rays of sunlight by day, and fading beauty as the sun went down. Bed was comfy, the apartment space was perfect, kitchen had everything we needed and “What a bonus” Room with a spa bath 🥰 Thoroughly enjoyed every second of our stay! The Owner, Helen, Greeted us and made us feel so welcome, and made sure everything was great.
