By the time I was on the island there was a fuel crisis and I was left without my rented car. So basically I was left stranded without an option to travel around. But Ricardo and Joana didn't leave me like that and did their best to help me enjoy my stay. They picked me up from the airport, the next day they organized a guide who took me around the western road. For my last 3 days they organized a car for me and enough fuel despite the crisis. They were both wonderful!

Eden Valley Ecolodge and Farming ligger i Madalena och erbjuder en pool, en trädgård, en restaurang, gratis WiFi och utsikt över poolen. Fantastic helpful staff who couldnt have done more. The tent/pod we stayed in was exactly as described and everything worked perfectly. Absolutely brilliant breakfast location overlooking the jungle and the waterfall and the food, especially the fruit and coffee, was plentiful. The property is out of the way which in itself gives you a true rainforest experience. Cant think of anywhere I have stayed like it. Would love to go again

Thanks for the hospitality and the breakfast.. also Waldimiro drove me around with the car rental and helped me with following, friend’s birthday and he helped me find a special cake, my hair got braided, exchanged cash, got water and the airport pick up and drop off. Great hospitality!

Mawo house ligger i Santana. Detta strandnära boende erbjuder tillgång till en balkong, gratis privat parkering och gratis WiFi. the view was the only reason I selected the area, the staff were great. I feel bad management was harsh on them when we had banking issues. it wasn’t their fault.

Infinity-house with direct access to the beach ligger i Santana i Sao Tome Island och har en balkong och utsikt över havet. The location is fantastic and has a beautiful view. We loved staying in Santana. The house is well equipped and has a lovely mango tree in the garden. The hosts are very helpful. We really recommend this place.

Wow! We arrived late and the place looked like a heavenly shelter in the forest. we found out it is! The pictures are not pimped, the place is like that or even better, the rooms were clean like a nuclear lab. The room was cosy, the bed perfect, we simply couldnt have wished for better. Maria is a cheerful and all in all a wonderful host. we are grateful for all! Their chocolate mousse unforgottable! the place is en route Bombaim, so brace for road conditions, but if you want to check more remote and smaller places/sanctuaries, the place is for you! no internet, no cellular signal! enjoy your digital detox, thats what you probably came for.

VIP House-Praia Francesca ligger vid stranden i São Tomé. Här erbjuds en trädgård och gratis WiFi. Fernando was an excellent host, picked us up and brought us again to the airport and was very nice. The small apartment is very clean, in a very convenient location a few minutes from the airport. I would definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast was also great in the patio in the garden. Thank you for the excellent homemade juices!
