Wonderful, charming family on Cat Ba Island. + This hotel is beautiful. Surrounded by mountains and forests, delicious food, everything perfect. The eleventh star (if there is one) I would give the host and the best staff we have ever met. They do everything they can to help, they take care of genuine honesty and friendliness for their customers (the owner said he wanted guests to leave the resort comfortably, so he will do everything he can to make the tourists happy). We wanted to stay longer, but there was no time left.

Set 1 km from Cat Co 2 Beach, Napoli Hostel offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. It's a new hostel and everything was super clean and fresh. The room was quite cozy, the bed and the locker were very comfortable and easy to use. It was the most soft and comfortable bed/mattress I've had in my entire trip in Vietnam. The owner Gem is a great host, she helped me a lot with booking tours, taxis and even tried to find the best and cheapest options for me and was upset that I didn't warn her earlier about my travel plans so she could have booked me a better, cheaper and more convenient transport. There's a cafe with the same name and they had a 10%discount for the guests from the hostel just need to take the coupon from the counter.

Everything from collection to drop off was done with minimum fuss. Staff were exceptional and had no problems, Tam our wait staff was very attentive. And looked after us well.

Fantastic boat and ambience and especially Tommy our butler who was so attentive and made sure my lactose intolerance was catered for. Everything was perfect on this trip - wish I booked two nights!

Visiting Viet Hai village and fish farm was a nice surprise.
