The hostel was very clean and the pool was an added bonus. We had a private room with our own bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool. It was perfect for our stay. Town was an easy walk away. It took us about 20 minutes. The owner picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived. We find that the son who spoke very good English was very helpful. He booked our tours, a bus from Hue to Phong Nha and a driver from Phong Nha to Hanoi when our flight was cancelled. The restaurant was fabulous and be sure to take part in the family dinner. It was inexpensive, delicious food booked by mom and sister and lots of fun. I would recommend staying here as it’s great value and the family/owners who all work together to run the place try very hard to please.

Tours they helped book were excellent, and their rental motorbikes were in good repair. The pool was pleasant, the restaurant simple but quick with an omelette or cold beer.

The location was great , close to town but away from any noise. I would highly recommend staying here.

First of all, the owners of the hotel allowed us to come at 4am in the morning and even arranged us a taxi, so we didn’t need to walk for an hour in the dark. Secondly, they didn’t even ask us to pay for staying those additional hours until the actual check-in time and gave us breakfast. The whole stay was very calming due to the location of the hotel and the staff. It was completely different from other hotels we stayed in Vietnam.
