The property is amazing, really spacious, cleaned everyday to a high standard. It has an amazing outdoor area with a Braai which we enjoyed using. It’s a great base location to visit Addo Elephant park which is an hour away. The lodge is secluded and you feel totally immersed in the beautiful surroundings, we walked in the mornings, saw lots of animals especially at night on the way back to the lodge. Safari’s are also available but we did these in Amakhala so just relaxed in the afternoons. There are a few nice restaurants in the local town if you want to eat out, if not the local spar is good. Thanks so much to Sonya and Frik for making us feel so welcome.

Located 47 km from Addo National Elephant Park, Harmony Luxury Tented Camp offers accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. Harmony seriously has the wow factor. The tents are so luxurious and the views from each one are very special. Opening all the windows created an amazing view that was so relaxing and brings nature into the tent. (Windows are mosquito safe so no problems there). The best experience ever. Mike and Mariejke are one of the best hosts I have experienced. True down to earth hospitality. We certainly made new friends with them. Booking the evening meal is a must! Mariejke is an amazing cook and Mike a Braai master! The food was just delicious. Such great value for money and the atmosphere in the evening was super. The friendliest people and they gave great tips for travellers. They recommended the Walking Giraffe safari on the neighbouring property and was an experience you won't forget. All in all this was wonderful and will be going back anytime I am in the Eastern Cape. You cannot go wrong staying there. Perfect location for Addo Elephant Park which was not far away. We stayed 3 nights but would have stayed longer if we had known how incredible it was. We made some lovey memories there.

Located in Addo in the Eastern Cape region, Bietjie Rus features accommodation with free WiFi. There is also a kitchen in some of the units equipped with a microwave, a fridge, and a stovetop. Sorita was wonderful in so many ways. She offered assistance beyond expectations. Breakfast included and due to rain offered dinner. She made us feel very comfortable. ENJOY YOUR FUTURE STAY. What a fantastic gem, a garden of eden hidden away in a vast citrus plantation, decorated with exceptional flair and taste. Our rooms were beautiful, large, spacious, clean, all details thought of and with a well -stocked drinks fridge. The staff were amazing : sweet, kind, caring, competent. They looked after us as if we were family, very welcome beloved family even. It was lovely to have dinner there, well- cooked by young and competent chef, unpretentious but tasty meals with good wines. I would love to not tell anyone about this beautiful place and keep it all to myself, but pleasure is made to be shared, and this place is a true pleasure. Monique, the manager, and Stoopi and the housekeepers spoilt us from the moment we got there until we left, and even after. An unforgettable stay in an unforgettably beautiful place. Thank you for everything Stellenhof! PS To future visitors, please make sure you tip the staff generously and properly because they really deserve it. I was horrified to see a German couple at the table next to us leave 4 Rand on the table. The tip in South Africa is between 10 to 15%. I was ashamed for my countryman.
