- hospitality and making us feel looked after (Mohammed and his colleagues were smiley and accommodating) - the tent and bathroom were clean -overall facilities (the common area is warm, you can have some tea or coffee+ shisha and enjoy the view in a cozy atmosphere) -the additional details were communicated in a timely manner via a message through Booking (pick-up location, cost of tours, meal preferences) It was a relief not to haggle about prices and to plan ahead the budget. -drifting in the sand with Mohammed I see people complaining the tent was cold. Since this is my second desert camping in December (previous was in the Sahara again in December) I can say one thing- deserts get bloody cold at night. I had my thermal leggings and top on when I went to bed and it was perfect. The guys in the camp also offer additional blankets and warm bottles in case you come unprepared.

We can fully recommend staying at Salameh's bedouin camp! It is a nice, smaller camp with only 5 tents, so you will get a really special and personal experience, not massy but classy ;) It is really nice to sit together with only a small amount of others by the fire, watching the stars (yep, Milky way is all there), enjoying some tea and sharing stories. We really had luck with our desert day tour in the Jeep with Aed as our guide. Aed is very funny and nice and knows the desert so good, he showed us so many beautiful places! Totally recommend taking the full day tour: so much fun and you will never get tired of new "wooooows". It is totally worth the 55 JD per person (this is incl. the costs for the night, food etc.) The dinner and breakfast is very delicious and has plenty of choice (also for veggies). Of course the tents do have all the luxury with bathroom, beds, and a big big window to see the desert. Just go there!

It was a very nice stay. We had a lot of fun. Thank you to the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The tent was very beautiful and clean. It had a wonderful view of the desert. We went on the jeep beach inside the desert for 4 hours. It was very beautiful.
