The room was very clean, the home is an amazing, classic place, Beautiful furniture and decor with interesting stories from around the world behind them. Safe and quiet neighborhood within the greenbelt. I got full respect from my host and all the services I needed. I even got treated for lunch and dinner. It was an amazing experience with a knowledgeable guide. The owner is a gentle soul and God bless him for me, I can’t find words to fully appreciate him and his place, I will definitely come back and only stay here always.

The cabin has its charm. It's spacious and cozy. The lake is just there, a short path through the cedar trees. It was great and little thrilling to explore it walking on the ice. ..and the night sky, you don't get that view in the city. Most of the cottages and cabins were vacant so it was pretty tranquil. The hosts were really nice and welcoming.

There are many fun things to do in the area, hiking trails, swimming, venturing into nearby towns and taking in all that nature has to offer. Lisa and Ian provided everything we needed for a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this off the grind oasis! I will definitely visit Barkview Hideaway again!

The instructions were easy to follow and we had everything we needed to make food. Also, we enjoyed having the soaps, shampoos, and cleaning products available already. The host was very quick to respond to any questions and provided helpful tips, we are very thankful for it.
