El Arenal Observatory Lodge & Spa, rodeado de 348 hectáreas privadas de bosque tropical, se encuentra emplazado dentro del área de conservación de Arenal, a solo 2,7 km del volcán Arenal, y dispone de... Beautiful and serene location, a truly perfect spot for nature lovers. The guided tours were fantastic, and the staff provided exceptional service - especially those working in the dining room! Would definitely return on our next trip to Costa Rica.

El Onca Tours & Tree houses se encuentra en San Rafael y ofrece vistas al jardín, restaurante y room service. This place was great, and really feels like you’re staying a bit off the well worn tourist trail. Friendly staff, lovely cabins annd amazing tube tour of the river with awesome guides. We got a flat tire and Odir and his wife gave us incredibly helpful local knowledge and assistance. Wish we could have stayed an extra night!

La Fortuna Waterfall Cabañas ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y TV de pantalla plana en Fortuna, a 7 km de las aguas termales de Kalambu y a 22 km del parque Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park. We loved everything about this place : the location, the room is clean, very nice and the bathroom also ! The staff is very nice, the breakfast is really good also ! We recommend very much ! El alojamiento se encuentra en Fortuna, en la región de Alajuela, a 10 km de la cascada de La Fortuna. This is a family-run business who cannot do more for their guests! All of the staff were so lovely, helpful, and informative about nature including giving us fruit picked from the trees! The breakfast every morning was delicious (defo go for the typical Costa Rican breakfast) cooked by the owners. We also ate from their restaurant which was YUMMY! Thanks to Chalets Silencio , we had a perfect stay with you! The nature here is breathtaking, the flowers, trees, fruits and so many animals!!! Note that the location of the lodge is outside of downtown La Fortuna but it was perfect for us as that's exactly what we wanted for two nights before moving to a downtown location :)

Las Cabañas Sueños del Arenal se encuentran a 6 km de la cascada de La Fortuna y ofrecen jardín, terraza y alojamiento con aire acondicionado, patio y wifi gratis. The property was perfect for us as a couple. Close to La Fortuna and far enough away that you were out of the busyness. The kitchen was stocked well enough to make simple meals. King bed was comfortable. The view of Arenal Volcano was amazing when it wasn’t too cloudy. The patio was sheltered from the rain so you could still enjoy coffee outside in the morning. Property felt secure with remote control opening and closing.

El Cecropia Ecolodge se encuentra en Fortuna, ofrece vistas al jardín y alberga un restaurante, un salón compartido, un jardín, una zona de parrilla y una terraza. Everything! The hosts are the nicest hosts we ever had. The property is a restored rainforest, a very cool place. The night tour is very recommended, we saw a lot of interesting animals. The food (breakfast and dinner) is delicious.

Las Pavitas Cottages se encuentra a 14 km de la cascada de La Fortuna y ofrece jardín, terraza y alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. Beautiful uninterrupted view of the Arenal volcano and valley. Quiet, rural setting with a few cabins nearby. The bedroom had double windows opening on to the patio. It was a good size with 2 comfortable queen beds and a put up bed for a child. Aircon was only in the bedroom, it was quiet and efficient. There was a large shower unit with lots of hot water. Cushioned seats and a table were on a covered patio which was large enough to use during a downpour. The settee in the living area was a good size. The kitchen has a full sized freestanding cooker with 4 rings , a microwave, rice steamer, and mini oven grill, coffee machine and kettle. Cooking utensils were limited to spoons/ slice and a knife. There were plenty of pans & a colander. The 11kg load washing machine was a bonus. Daniel was quick to respond, friendly and helpful. We were delighted when he introduced us to Freddy a local sloth at the end of the drive.

El Boca Tapada Lodge se encuentra en Boca Tapada, a 43 km de Florida, y ofrece restaurante y wifi gratis. Todos los alojamientos tienen aire acondicionado y zona de estar y/o de comedor. The place is marvelous, very clean and welcoming, really close to the nature! Make sure to take the boat trip and say hello to Mantequilla and Princesa, the hotel pets.

La Finca Lodge se encuentra en Fortuna, a 35 km de la catarata La Fortuna, y ofrece una pileta al aire libre y bañera de hidromasaje. Hay conexión wifi gratis. The property is a family-run business with the family working across reception, food service and other support. The accommodation was great, with individual units air-conditioned on the property. The pool was a great temperature and clean. The property is calm and quiet and the breakfast was great. We easily drove to several activities in the local area within 30-45 minutes, including animal reserves and a chocolate tour, before moving on to La Fortuna. The children loved meeting the water buffalo and had an exceptionally great time.
