Dinner was fantastic with my favorite Chilean wine (Laura Hartwig). Also breakfast was very good.

Absolutely in the middle of nowhere. Far away from the crowded places at the border of the Braulo Carillo National Park. Enjoy pure Costa Rican jungle with just a few others, no mass tourism here. The staff; Pedro, Luis and Alba are really great people who want to give you the best time ever. The cabins are basic but sufficient and are located in the middle of the jungle. The meals where delicious and Alba really did a great job with the food. Luis en Pedro guided some great night tours through the jungle. I sure will be back in the future.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Great house, with beautiful view. Check-in was easy with keys in a locker, easy access, great location close to Poas and La Paz.

Offering a garden and garden view, Deluxe boutique lodge is situated in Vara Blanca, 6.2 km from La Paz Waterfall Gardens and 7.6 km from La Paz Waterfall. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 15 km from Poas National Park. The Deluxe Boutique Lodge was perfect in so many ways. We booked this location to be close to Poas National Park and La Paz Waterfall Garden. It was 20 minutes to one and 10 to the other. Walter met us at the property even though due to weather and construction we were about an hour late. He also became our lifesaver that day. Again, due to weather, a family member was delayed arriving into San Jose. Walter volunteered to drive down to San Jose and pick her up. The property is located on the main road into the small village of Vara Blanca, walking distance to restaurants and shops. The Lodge is super clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the WIFI very good and the huge TV was a welcome diversion during the stormy weather. We do not hesitate to recommend this property
