Tiny Villa among the olives se găsește în Heraklion, la 18 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja din Amoudara și la 6,4 km de Zidurile venețiene. Anthony was very helpful and supportive. His attitude was excellent.

Dioni Stone House se găsește în Petrokefalo, la numai 16 km de Zidurile venețiene, și are vedere la munte, WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. Oaspeții de la acest chalet au acces la un balcon. Probably the first place where we stayed where the reality exceeds the property photos. This is a gem! Beautiful, tastefully restored little house in a quiet remote village which is really close to Heraklion by car, just in 10 minutes you suddenly find yourself in a different world than the touristy seashore, a piece of traditional, rural Crete. But be aware, you do need a car - which is cheap to rent in Crete anyway. The owners left some tasty local products for us (honey, butter, marmalade, some bakery product, olive oil, even raki!) so we didn't have to care about the first breakfast. There is a place to park just in front of the house which is very convenient. (Don't be shy on the narrow streets that leads there, the car will fit).

Villa Strata was an amazing stay, super clean and fully equipped. We stayed there for one night and immediately fell in love with the place, the house, the village and the locals. Michalis was an excellent host, always available for help and recommendations and he made us feel at home. Can't wait to come back!

Flamingo colour valey house se află în Palekastron, la 5 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Maridati, și oferă WiFi gratuit, o grădină și parcare privată gratuită. Amazing stay and fantastic location! Costas is a very warm and helpful host. The house is located in an olive grove a few 100 meters from the calm beach of Maridati (and 1 min from the Maridatis restaurant) where you can go snorkeling as there are a lot of fish! The house is spacious and comfortable, it has a small terrace with a view of the surrounding. You will see nothing except the occasional sheep, rabbit or 'house' cat which we befriended. If you enjoy a quiet and totally relaxing stay, very close to an amazing and less known beach with few people and great swimming in cristal clear and calm waters, then don't hesitate. On top of that you have a taverna close by with amazing hosts (Eleni and Manolis) and great food. We will be back. Thank you, Costas, for the warm welcome and your kindness!

Love the interior, sea view, the location is great (lots of restaurants nearby, 10 min walking to the old town), service is amazing (full free mini bar, gifts of local products, cleaning, restaurant recommendations).

Set in Episkopí- Rethimno, Mikro Livadi Special Lodges - Has an Eco Salt water pool - 150m from the beach offers a garden and sun terrace. Chania Town is 34 km away. Words can not describe! This is such a wonderful place. Everything about it is just exceptional. The room we had was huge and spacious with a fully equiped kitchen, a seperate bedroom, cosy living room and a huge shower area. There is also a very nice private sitting area around the room to start your morning in. The family who runs the place is so nice and welcoming, you immediately feel part of it. The natural salt water pool was nothing short of amazing and we spent a lot of time around the pool area. Located just 300m from the main road and the beach, location was great and easy to find, having a private parking space is a plus. The in-complex resturant serves home cooked food made intirly of stuff they grow on pramise or buy from local farmers. The food was very good and the prices are... just normal (cheap like the rest of Greece). The surrounding area is as beautiful and wild with some great views all around. We are definatly coming back next year!
