Ecolodge Jua Bahari is located in the small town of Timboni, just 2 km away from Watamu Beach. Surrounded by palm trees, the lodge has an outdoor pool and restaurant. The lady (owner) treated us in the best way possibile, she is super nice and kind and ready to face all of our needs. She is also an excellent cooker and she made a delicious dinner and the breakfast is amazing (fruits, pancakes, eggs, muffins etc). The place is sourranded by nature and it seems to be in a peaceful little paradise. I would highly recommended to choose this place to stay, it is also close to the city centre (5 min by boda boda). I will come back here for sure!

Lonno Lodge features a salt-water pool lined with thatched parasols and a private beach area. Located 4 km from Watamu centre, it provides luxury accommodation decorated with local artefacts. A very warm welcome from the Managenent Rooms are out of this world, very uniquely designed. Wow A romantic valentines dinner by the pool was special.

Located at Kilifi Creek, just 3 km outside of town and surrounded by a community forest, Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers features a secluded beach area, a restaurant and outdoor pool. Out of everywhere in the world, this was my favorite hostel ever! Meant to stay 4 nights and stayed 2 weeks and didn’t want to leave. The property is HUGE and so beautiful. They were constantly cleaning and all the facilities were well maintained. The staff, especially Beth, Brian and George were incredible. There’s hostel pets we fell in love with as well. Can cook there too! Just beware monkeys will enter the dorm rooms constantly! So don’t bring food in there. Couldn’t recommend enough.

The Baobab Sea Lodge is located along the coast of the Indian Ocean and offers elegantly decorated rooms. It features a pool surrounded by a 26.000 square metres tropical garden and a restaurant. Breakfast was poor....no salad , no cheese
