The landing was a pleasant place to relax. The hosts were helpful. There's no hotel at the property however, there's a restaurant nearby that delivers within 15mins. Eccentrico e iconico, l'Ark Lodge vi accoglie nel cuore del Parco Nazionale di Aberdare, a Nyeri, e offre 4 belvedere, tra cui un bunker a livello del terreno, insieme a un affaccio sull'abbeveratoio... We loved the day safari around the Aberdares - green, fresh, and lots of animals. We really enjoyed the lecture about elephants by Stephen. The food was excellent, as was the bar and the log fire. And we loved having hot water bottles in our bed at night! Special thanks also go to Amos for taking care of us.

Kenya from several spots, either on a horse or from your breakfast table ;) definitely a place to come back!!

Good and reasonably priced acomodation with waterhole in front of most tents, good restaurant, swimming pool. Very good point to start self drive safaris in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, however we found western areas 7 - 10 km behind the bridge, along the river the most interesting.
