Host was excellent Lynn made sure we got to the prperty okay. Cottage a hidden gem, a nice romantic getaway. Location peaceful and handy walking distance to Akaroa. FIre was a nice treat and the cottage was warm and cosy.

The property offers views of Lake Benmore and Aoraki Mt Cook. Located perfectly for star gazing. Everything, though about 10 minutes off the beaten path it didn’t matter once you got there. On the front porch you looked right at Mount Cook. The house itself was immaculate and the appointments were top notch. If you are staying for a few days do not miss this one.

Tekapo Springs and Alpine Springs & Spa are both 4 minutes’ drive away. Wonderful property, well organized cottage. Very clean. Easy to access. Hosts readily accommodated our late check-in. Great location, walk to Lake Tekapo and to the little village for stores and restaurants. Fantastic stainless steel hot tub. Would highly recommend.
