Situated in Puno, Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru offers accommodation with views of the lake, and breakfast included every day. The property is 7 km from the city centre, and right in front of Titicaca lake. Taking into consideration the location of the place, the stay was great. The owner was very nice, the room was surprisingly good for being on a reed island. The food was good, too. Pick-up & drop-off from Puno was offered and easy to arrange (even really early in the morning). The owner was easy to communicate with since we had some questions before arrival.

Rates at this all-inclusive property include breakfast, lunch and dinner. We only had one night to spend at Uros Semarana Uta Lodge and we regret it was only this much. It was an amazing time, Cesar is very friendly and very responsive. He arranged our pick up from the train station and took us with his boat from the taxi. He and Lucy prepared an amazing stay for us, the house is very clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. The next day we didn't have anything planned so Cesar took us to a tour around the islands, explained to us everything about their community, arranged for a totora boat trip and gave us an amazing time learning a lot of stuff. Him and Lucy are such warm and friendly persons, it was so nice to be guests in their home and we recommend to pass their door step and get to know them, you will have an amazing time.

The location had amazing views - what else could you ask for being situated in the middle of Lake Titicaca. Vidal and his family were lovely and friendly. The rooms was exactly as the photo depicted. Our favorite spot would be the lounge area by the lake where you can just sit the whole day. The bathroom is also very comfortable - their toilet is flushable and they have a water heater. Lots of blankets are provided to keep you warm during the night. The food they served though simple was actually one of the best we had in Peru, and that's after dining at Lima and Cusco.

I think it was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in! There are 3 houses on a floating island, owned by a father and a son. They are extremely nice people! The price is ridiculously small for what they offer. The view from the huge windows of the house is amazing, and so is the stay on the floating terrace.
