The property is a real gem hidden in Arusha city, 20 mnts from the airport. We spent one night there after a safari and the service was impeccable ( they even cleaned our dusty shoes!), the room was spotless and really nicely decorated. They also have a really nice cute garden with a small outdoor bar and pool where we sat down after dinner. It deserves a 10!

We wanted a comfortable and budget-friendly place to stay after 16 hours of flying, before and after a birding tour of ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK, and prior to the start of a safari to the larger parks. Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge fit the bill perfectly. Edith, the owner and host, saw to our every comfort and need. Our rooms were well-appointed, clean, and spacious. Meals were served home style and delicious. We enjoyed having tea and soda in the outdoor bar each evening. Edith has literally built the property and gardens with her own two hands and her pride shows and it is well justified. The views of Mt. Meru are as memorable as the warm welcome you receive from Edith and her staff. Give Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge a try if you are staying near Arusha before or after a safari.

Went beyond our expectations, it was the most beautiful place we've ever stayed in, the staff are incredible, attentive and made the stay 6* From morning safari walk, too spear throwing, maasai dance and group get together around the firepit. The whole time, we felt like we were living experiencing maasi Village, with the exception of the level of subtle luxury and good standard of food. Airport Planet Lodge ligger i Kingori og har udsigt til haven, restaurant, gratis shuttletransport, bar, have, udendørs pool der er åben året rundt samt terrasse. Very close to the airport, shuttle included. My girlfriend was sick and our flight was late in the afternoon the next day, so she was allowed to stay in bed until our shuttle to the airport left. Very kind, great service!
