Rick's on the Esplanade @ Bargara was exceptional as was the Baltimore Fish Bar & Restaurant @ the Marina in Burnett Heads...... go the "Fish Tower for Two", a bit ex'y but worth every penny!.... and the tub of ice cream from the shop next-door was to die for!!

Bargara is a small coastal resort but with quite a few coffee shops, eateries and a nice hotel. It's clean and tidy and close to several beaches - some are surf patrolled. It's a small place so you will probably want to venture further and there are a number of day cruises to the reef etc.

The host was very friendly and accommodating with late check in. There were no problems with 2 dogs (1 in each room). The coastal decoration was lovely and the space was small but very cosy, which made it very comfortable. Value for money to the max! I'd definitely stay again and for longer next time.

My cousin in Brisbane recommended it.
My cousin in Brisbane recommended it. We (family of four with kids aged 13 and 9) stayed for five nights and had a grand time. Nice beaches, good coffee shops and places to eat (especially Bradlee's fish and chips and the pub at the Bargara Beach Hotel) and some fun excursions: Mon Repos beach for the turtles and the boat trip to Lady Musgrave Island are both good (but book in advance) and, nearer 'home', we enjoyed testing various flavours of excellent lemonade at the Bundarberg Barrel and going nuts at Macadamia Australia. Great for a relaxing few days by the sea.

Great beaches. Aldi, Woolworths, chemist etc. Restaurants. I highly recommend the Red Chilli Thai takeaways/ restaurant. Authentic Thai. Beautiful flavours. Also See Street fish & chips is good. Good friendly service from both.
Early morning walks with dog on beach great. Don't forget to carry doggie poo bags. Council bin at beach for disposal.
Grand daughter practised her driving on L plates around Bargara/ Bundaberg. Good area to do that.
Many interesting tourist things in Bargara/ Bundaberg.

False Advertising.
False Advertising. The photos on booking.com is not of the room that was offered. The room was stinky and there was no regular room service. Was even asked to take my rubbish with me. Very outdated room and tired. No east access to beach, have to go through the basement and open an old, outdated roller door. I think a bit overcharged for what I got. Don't like being lied to so don't think I will be ever going back there.
The location, being doggy friendly and close to everything in Bargara. Only a short walk to the beach, clubs, restaurants and pub.
Sam& Nicole are absolutely wonderful, boasting both a calm and friendly presents that creates the relaxed atmosphere this quirky motel has to offer.
The motel has the added bonus of a communal kitchen, lounge area and outside courtyard. Beautiful and well maintained pool area and more.
Our entire stay at Pacific Sun Bargara blew all our expectations away. It’s a beautiful little hidden gem in Bagara. Right in the centre of town just a few streets back from the beach and the pub for one of the best steaks I have ever had. The accommodations were beautifully refurbished and modern with everything we needed. We couldn’t recommend it enough!
The hotel had charm and and was very welcoming. Lovely facilities and room clean and bed comfortable. Staff very friendly and happy to accommodate any request. Very good price as well. Bicycle's available for free to ride around, and within walking distance to everything.
The location of the unit was excellent. Room with a view, straight across the road from the swimming and boat launching beach. Parkland with plenty of seating and tables available. Shops, bakery, take-away venues, cafes and hotel within a 1 minute walk.
Every room looks out to the ocean and from the top floor the view is fantastic. The hotel isn't super flash but everything is solid - good bed, nice sheets, fine bathroom. Location is great. Right in the middle of Bargara on the ocean.
Location was excellent in this small town, stone's throw from the beach and town facilities. Immaculately clean, super comfortable bed and good out of hours check in. Nice new bathroom. Bargara is a little gem, well worth a few days.
We enjoyed the fact that the property was off the main road enough not to hear all the traffic but it was only a stroll across the road to the shopping Centre and just a quick drive down to the shops and hotel.
The location was great with a short stroll to Archies Beach and then 20min to Bargara main. The pool, tennis courts and well kept lawn and grounds were fantastic for the kids to play on.
location was great, local enough to walk to coffee shops, beach and for meals out. facilities were great, and staff incredibly chatty and helpful, and on hand if required.
