Spectacular views. Loved the hikes, the botanical garden and tree-top walk is very special. The check out staff was very helpful in finding us an unused parking spot so that we could enjoy more time there since, being a public holiday, all the public parking spaces and parking on the road in were jammed.
Only a 2-minute walk from the town centre, Canungra Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. Guests enjoy access to a restaurant, a bar and a gaming lounge with billiards.

We had a wonderful stay at the Eagle’s Nest. The property has incredible panoramic views of the scenic rim region and is within close proximity to Canungra and local wineries.
We thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool - this is a great addition. The property was super spacious and had a large well stocked kitchen and everything was clean and tidy.
Thanks for having us!

We went to a wedding at O'Reillys Winery, so the hotel was a perfect spot to stay. The town was great. We had breakfast at the Outpost on Sunday. The service was excellent and the food was great. The locals in the Hotel on both nights were very friendly and we had a good laugh with them. Everyone we met was very friendly.

The room we booked for my Mother and I was just perfect as it was spacious and very nicely presented. Good TV and effective Air-conditioner. The modern Bathroom had a large shower and no problem with quick hot water.
The bed was most comfortable and fresh.
We dined in the Restaurant just down the stairs. Food and Service was Superb.
Great place to stay for the night.

Great little town.
Great little town. We had breakfast the following morning at "The Outpost" cafe which was very enjoyable. Quite a few cafes in town, people were friendly. Cute wee Church (St Lukes, I think) Not too far up to Mt Tamborine and the drive up to Canungra was very pleasant.

Interesting place to visit with lots of outdoor recreational things to do i.e cycling, fishing, swimming in lovely fresh water creeks. Village has some great shops and several cafes serving up good food. it's quite amazing to find so much unspoiled natural beauty so close to the Gold Coast . An ideal spot for anyone wanting to get away for a relaxing time.

Canungra had grown a little since our last visitsome years ago.
All the facilities you would expect of a small country town, and very welcoming people. We had a delicious lunch (recommended by our host) at the Ninja Ginja japanese restaurant in the main street.
Parking was pretty hectic (expected, over Christmas).

On our arrival and after initial room allocation, we requested a Valley View room. This was no trouble to arrange with reception who promptly changed our room.
Very courteous at all times and pleasant to deal with.
All staff with whom we made contact were only too happy to help and obviously enjoyed their job.
Aside from the lack of mobile reception, the location was great! Right next to the alpaca farm, and it made the drive up to O'Reilly's very manageable. Not too far away from Canungra to be inconvenient, but also far enough that you could get that "free from civilization" feeling.
The cottage was cozy and neat, just the right size for a couple or a small family. The pizza oven and fire pit were great additions, making for a novel and relaxing experience.
Typical old world hotel with lots of character including the creaky wooden stairway. A well appointed room and excellent ensuite showing the character but with modern fit-out. The walls are a little thin and the plumbing can be noisy but that is part of its old-world charm. No noise was heard from the active bar area when our door was closed. Would stay again though a bit over priced, probably because of its location.
Great location, very quiet and an easy walk to Canungra (assuming you are happy to go up and down a few little hills). Suzanna, the host, is delightful and very welcoming including a courtesy call the day prior to touchbase and advise we could check in early if required - which was very welcome due to having an afternoon wedding nearby. The room and bathroom are great sizes and the bed is very comfortable.
The view was amazing. The first room was very nice. We made the mistake of booking the second night with the hotel direct and were charged are extra $67.00 for a room which was considerably smaller and not as nice as the previous night The free afternoon tea was a nice touch as was the managers welcome. The rooms were very clean. The surrounding countryside is beautiful.

Loved the location, a beautiful area for drives and hiking. A short drive to Canungra.
Bed was comfortable, tent was clean and tidy. Great to have a spa for your own tent.
The shared BBQ was big and clean, started every time.
The kitchen is small but we'll stocked, but probably only a couple of nights. We had a portable fridge otherwise we wouldn't have coped.
We loved the location, privacy, quietness, country feel with the sheep, horses and cows wandering past.
The cabin was beautifully presented and decor very tasteful.
The closeness to Canungra made it very acceptable to collect groceries or a dinner out.
The owners were easy to contact if needed and really friendly.
Simply a fantastic self contained stay for families and couples alike that are looking for a semi-rural break while being close to a town. Brilliantly thought out and well equipped accommodation units and communal facilities. A great overview of macadamia farming provided. Fantastic hosts.
Great location. Breakfast basket was nice. Spot on for three people about to go hiking. Situated in a picturesque valley with the Lamington National Park very accessible and Canungra township about 11 kms away. Robyn is a personable host. We aim to return sometime.
The cottage was just beautiful, everything was perfect. It is located right in the centre of town close to cafes and the Canungra Pub. Short drive to local wineries. Fantastic place for a short relaxing stay.
Birds in the bush and the quite. We were close to the Pub for dinner and they produced a good menue at reasonable prices. Staff very helpful when we went to enquire about the missing owner of the B & B.
The location was rustic with character, breakfast was fine. This type of accommodation suits us to a tee, peaceful but within close proximity to the township and our traveling around the area
