Bed was very comfortable!

The town is small enough to walk through in an afternoon and once off the main highway it is pleasant enough for a large regional centre however, Dalby is on the main western highway and is constantly under assault by large and I mean huge road trains some with three trailers driving through the town. You can hear them from everywhere.
The main street has plenty of shopping and eating options, Golf course is nice and local sites are enough to keep you interested for a couple of days.

The Bed was clean and comfortable, we were offered complimentary light breakfast. The room was not as clean as I would like. It could have done with some TLC. There was only one bedside table with one lamp that didn’t work. The towels didn’t smell fresh and didn’t dry properly. I went to take the key back and mention the lamp not working, (so the next people could have a working one),but nobody was around. I am not one for making reviews, but felt I needed to.

We stayed at Dalby to attend a Painting workshop in Bell which is a short drive away. Inspired me, it was a lovely relaxing weeknd. Thinking of exploring Western Downs further and Dalby is a good place to locate our exporation of the region.

We were only in Dalby for a short time so didn't get to explore. A lovely town with very friendly people. Dalby is very easy to get around and appeared quite a laid-back place. The Coffee Club on Cunningham Street served great bacon and eggs and beautiful coffee. The night sky was spectacular with many more stars than can be seen in Brisbane. We will visit again as our accommodation at the Australian Hotel Motel was lovely and this trip was way too short to take in all the surrounding sites.

I loved eating breakfast at Urban Paddock.
I loved eating breakfast at Urban Paddock. Very delicious breakfast and great coffee and wonderful service. I attended Words out West and went to functions at Myall 107. This event was fabulous and I encourage people attend future events with the library and regional council. Travel around Dalby is easy with great parking near all places of interest. The people in Dalby are very welcoming.

Dalby appears to be a flourishing country town.Wonderful improved parkland walks and gardens amenities along Myall Creek.Great walking.exercising along the creek with abundant wildlife.Vsry relaxing. Visiting friends who drove us to interesting sites around Dalby.Lake Broadwater,Bunya Mountains and surrounding properties.
The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The motel was centrally located and we were grateful to be able to take our dog. We enjoyed sitting around the pool area with our friends and the pool was clean and refreshing. The breakfast was well stocked and the variety of coffee sachets were appreciated. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
Dalby is a lovely town to visit and we found all the locals that we interacted with to be friendly.
Friendliness of the owners and staff. You felt like you were visiting family. The menu is well balanced and the quality of the fresh products they use rivals many a top restaurant. Although simple in presentation every bite is worth taking. Rarely have I come across in my travels chefs who know how to cook fish - this was a very pleasant surprise and I will definitely order again when back at Dalby for business. A hidden gem but need to book quick.
The parking was wide spaced, which made it easier for unloading the car.
The bathroom was big and roomy.
The room had chairs, you have no idea how many hotels don’t have a room in the chair. The only option you have is to sit on the bed. I like to sit on a chair. I loved that it had chairs to sit and relax on
Nice clean cabin (one light shade missing, but light was operational). Easy check in, good parking spot, and reverse cycle heating was nice given the weather. A good place to stay for a few nights with more space to move than a standard hotel room. Will be my choice of accommodation on my next trip to Dalby.
The lady at reception was so friendly and helpful. Great recommendation for breakfast and gave directions to the hotel we wanted to go to for dinner. She really made our stay and was genuinely interested in what we were doing and whether we enjoyed our dinner. She is a real asset to the motel.
Excellent accommodation with covered carport right out front. The accommodation was also directly opposite a hotel/bottleshop with nice meals. There is also takeway less than 100 metres away, with other options within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.
Breakfast isn't available at the motel, hasn't been for a while & Booking has yet to update their information. The location was perfect for our needs. We were entertaining at the Dalby Delicious n Delightful Festival, so the motel was conveniently close.
The food was great and I was able to park the camper van near the room. The hosts where friendly and nothing was too much trouble . The shower was hot and the bathroom was a good size . Would stay again next time I am in Dalby
I’ve stayed at the Dalby Fairway Motor Inn a few times now and the rooms have been amazing each time - impeccably clean, spacious and the most comfy beds! It was easy to organise a late check in as well.
We were surprised by being given an entire house, rather than just teh room we booked. Excellent set up, and value for money. We'd definitely stay again if we were in Dalby.
