Great location. The unit smelled good - not like most motels which smell like the worst toilet cleaner you could find! Not here!!!! Bijou size but perfect for what was needed for a great stay. Comfortable bed, clever modern design and colours. Beautiful bathroom and brilliant shower. Good outdoor facilities and EV charging access. A big upgrade from most daggy motels that all look alike. We are coming back to the area and this motel just because of this stay so thank you very much for the care and attention you have put into the motel's upgrade. Well worth it!!!

Shelley + Doug were terrific hosts - perfect balance of attentiveness and friendliness and privacy. The Country Inn was so inviting, relaxing and comfortable, cozy fireplaces, pool room, games magazines. We dined in the restaurant for the most delicious and generous servings of smoked brisket and vegies and our breakfasts (included) were delicious.

gorgeous! the attention to detail is next level here. bed was very comfortable as were all couches chairs etc . the kayak was such a nice surprise. So many yummy treats that we couldn’t even get through them, wish we could have stayed longer! The bath as amazing!!!

Set in Ballandean, 15 km from Stanthorpe, Windswept Country Retreat features a barbecue and views of the mountains. A flat-screen TV and DVD player, as well as a CD player are available.
This is a place out of town and is very quiet. We went to Girraween National Park, which was a very nice place and would advise to pack a picnic. We also went to the maze (which was very fun). We went to Jamworks, their hospitality was amazing and food was great. We went to Sutton Juice works, it was ok. We went to Castle Glen, do not recommend the white rum, unless you love strong tasting alcohol. All in all there were many things to do around Stanthorpe.
