Beautiful little historic cottage. The location was great....at the back of the property so there was no road noise, but a short walk to see the Mill and to the pub for dinner, and great little bar attached to property. The bathroom was great, the walk in, very tall shower was exceptional. The room we booked is called the small cottage and it is really small, but lovely for a night or 2.

The location is great as it is right in Oatlands. It was comfortable, clean and warm and the bed was cosy. The living area is cosy and the bathroom is lovely. We were able to park right at the door.

Oatlands is a gorgeous little town, full of character, textured and varied. You really need to take a little time to get to know it and discover all its gems, some out in the open, some a little more hidden. I visited for the first time in December last year, spent a little longer this time and thus had the opportunity to savour it a bit more. Sublime, beautiful, this is a really special town, I still haven't done everything and I look forward to visiting again.

A beautifully maintained historic village with a large number of buildings classified by the National Trust. Most buildings are in the local sandstone and are maintained and presented in excellent condition. There are many boards on buildings with a brief history of year built, original owner and initial use. A very well presented historic village.

I liked the fact that I could prefer a real meal for the whole family to enjoy as the kitchen has all you need for cooking. The pantry has every little things that you need. All i have to buy is my main ingredients.

We stayed at Oatlands as it was the last night before we flew out of Hobart airport; there is only an hour's drive from Oatlands to the airport. We didn't want to stay in Hobart again, and it meant we were able to spend our last few days travelling down the Heritage Highway. We recommend seeing Oatlands, but in retrospect would choose Ross or Richmond to stay overnight.

Very, very quiet and made for a restful night. Quality bathroom, comfy bed and small sitting area with tv, kitchen bench, fridge, m/wave etc and washing machine. Perfect host, doesn’t intrude at all but is on hand if needed. Excellent value-for-money modern accommodation in Oatlands where there is a whiskey distillery, historic windmill, museum and an awesome brand new indoor swim pool centre up the road.

The kitchen table was a good size for a mix of work and playing a large complex board game. There was everything we needed, and right next door was the fabulous Imbibers where we had wonderful food and drinks before returning to the cottage for the rest of the evening. The cottage was delightful, with brand new kitchen and bathrooms and a comfy lounge room. We appreciated the period furniture and paintings to give it a historic feel, whilst still having all the mod cons!
