The unit was like a little house - spacious. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed, as did the bathroom. Parking was just outside the door, so convenient. It is great that the unit provides its own washing machine and dryer. We really appreciate how clean the unit was.
Situated in Ulverstone, in a historic building, less than 1 km from Buttons Beach, Winterbrook House is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with free bikes and garden.

I didn’t end up staying so can’t say anything about this but the location looked great.
Situated across the road from the beach in Penguin, Penguin Beachfront Apartments offers self-catering accommodation. The beautiful Cradle Mountain National Park is a 1-hour drive.

Great beachside stay especially for families.
Great beachside stay especially for families. Large enough to have good shopping facilities but also small enough to really relax and enjoy nature. Close to other great places like Penguin. Places to stay for campers, caravan and motels.

It had been 12 years since I had been in Ulverstone, I noticed a big difference newer buildings, the new bridge, The Hive which every visiter should visit. Leven Antiques-I always visit that shop, and buy something. In fact the Antique Fair was on and a bought a beautiful Vintage Ring.
I travelled alone and had a room which contained a single bed and a queen size bed therefore my room was quite large, great!
I had a fabulous lunch at Westin on Windows, just out of Ulverstone. A Thai Restaurant was good.

Ulverstone is scenic and restful, with some good cafes and eateries. It is a typical Tasmanian coastal town with an interesting history and some exciting new features, such as a local vineyard and wharf precinct.

Man, this property was one of our favorites during our Tassie holiday. Got our room upgraded on check-in. Room/bathroom was spotless, bath amenities were wonderful, Lots of street parking available. Bed was really comfortable. Walking distance to lots of cafes and bars (and the grocery store) Staff was so friendly and helpful with questions we had. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, we'd make a special effort to return and stay longer at this property. Fantastic experience.
I got an upgraded room through booking.com, and I swear it was the best room in the whole of the hotel. I could see Bass Strait, the room was giant, it was warm. I always find The Lighthouse’s beds are the comfiest beds around Devonport/Ulverstone and they always come with a good selection of pillows. The room’s are fairly recently renovated and always clean. And I always stay here when I’m in the area. Definitely recommend.
A lovely restored home in the heart of Ulverstone, with beautifully renovated rooms and lovely ensuites. The lovely breakfast was a real treat as well. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed the beautiful garden which was in full bloom when we visited in late September. A quick walk along the river into town for dinner was a lovely way to finish the day
Located in a short drive from Spirit Of Tasmania ferry terminal for our trip to Sydney and also close to our daughter when heading north from home. The facility makes for an enjoyable stay hence our recent stays this past year. The rooms are clean and of a good standard as is the dining room and it's meals on offer. Is good value also with their rates for accommodation.
We did the last moment reservation, and they had no problem organizing a room for us very quickly. All the amenities were perfect. Their fantastic bathtub surved well after a very tiring day of traveling. Everything was clean and nice. The staff was very friendly. Soft beds, lovely kitchen, would definitely stay there again.
We loved stayed at Goat Island Bungalow. The self-contained cottage was 5 star in comfort and luxury. Being able to sit out the back and watch the ocean was so very relaxing. All kitchenware was provided and it was easy to access local shops for groceries. Thank you to our host for this amazing stay.
Breakfast provisions were quite adequate and the view from my apartment was lovely and peaceful. As an ex-local who lived in the area some 20+ years ago I found the modern accommodation to be very pleasant and peaceful and convenient to supermarkets and restaurants and the lovely local Ulverstone beach.
Doug and Christine were terrific hosts! They are super friendly, kind and offer a fantastic experience as they share all their knowledge of Tasmania. It is a perfect stop if you are travelling around the area and would like to know the amazing little secrets, such as how to get to see penguins!
The apartment is fully wheelchair accessible with a great bathroom. My son had no problems getting around the apartment in his electric wheelchair. The deck on the waterfront is fantastic and would be great for a bbq in the warmer months.
The breakfast was a unexpected bonus, and the manager phoned us in the morning of our departure via the ferry from Geelong. The motel was very quiet and only a short drive to the local supermarket and River Arms hotel.
Our stay at Ulverstone River Retreat was fabulous. Hosts Kim and Anthony were very friendly and welcoming and the facilities were great, there wasn't anything missing in a very quiet but pleasant location
Location, you could walk everywhere in Ulverstone. Great to have a kettle tea, coffee, milk in room, and having the shampoo. conditioner, soap replenished daily. The room was quiet. cleaned daily.
This home is beautiful and in a perfect position to walk to the town of Ulverstone or the beach or the lovely parks there
Also a good place to explore the area of penguin burnie and even Stanley
It is a lovely location with a great balcony. You had a great view of the Leven River and the surrounding area. It was an easy walk from the property to the CBD of Ulverstone
lovely little house conveniently located between Ulverstone and penguin, Nespresso Machine and tastefully decorated. good views of the water, Wi-Fi included, private.
