Entire House Beautiful Farm Stay 9 Bedrooms Sleeps 18 Enjoy Nature, hotel in Wisemans Ferry

Set in Mangrove Mountain, 43 km from Memorial Park and 34 km from Central Coast Stadium, Entire House Beautiful Farm Stay 9 Bedrooms Sleeps 18 Enjoy Nature offers a garden and air conditioning.

Enough space for extended family for a weekend away. Property included a shed with table tennis, air hockey and foosball table. The basketball hoop provided lots of entertainment for the kids and adults although it is terribly rusted. We loved sitting around the campfire at night. The teens enjoyed talking to the horses and llama at the gate and were excited to see the variety of poultry in their pens. The fresh oranges from the orchard were fun to pick and juice. Plenty of parking for our 5 cars with heaps of space for more.

Given a very old room that nobody has been living there for a while. The room was full of mosquitoes. I got woken up at 3.45am and 5.17am. I killed in total around ten mosquitoes. The smoke alarm went off twice when I was taking shower in the morning. I had to stop showering and went to the reception asking them to turn it off. Both windows were broken(could not be lifted up). There was a thick layer of dusk on the windows. I travel a lot and stayed in hotels/motels that costed from under a hundred to a few hundred per night. This was the worst experience so far.

The river is the highlight of Wisemans - if you are into waterski-ing then head up river, if you are into kayaking and fishing - head down river. Highly recommend for a great day out on the water - classic Hawkesbury River! You can head over to St Albans for lunch and a little more history or follow the river all the way to Spencer with another great place to eat. The roads can be a little narrow, but its still a great place to ride a bike if you are not into watersports!

We really liked the central location and it was easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rate was very good but no double bed with ensuite available, the single beds were comfortable and there was an ensuite with that room. Good heating and extra blanket for a chilly night. Food was good at the inn and serving size was generous.

We loved the ferry/punt, across the beautiful Hawkesbury river. The landscape and birds were stunning. Food was great at the general store and check out Spencer while you're there; it is a piece of paradise and the locals are great too.

The Bowlo has hearty food and a beautiful view of the river/escarpment. The Inn has a great view and ambience...excellent singer and lovely old trees. Wisemans is a great stop-over for travellers who want to skip the highway/motorway, see the incredible forest, escarpment and the mind-blowing Dyarubbin - Hawkesbury river. You will not regret stopping over at Wisemans Ferry.
