One of the best features of this motel is the covered parking which is great in hot weather or on frosty mornings (no need to de-ice the car).
The heater had been turned on prior to my arrival which provided a lovely warm welcome on a very chilly day. Thank you :-)
The interior decor was very fresh and pleasant.

Wellington Motel has not returned my $100 "security deposit". We checked out Sunday morning October 1 and today is Thursday October 5. my only critic of Wodonga was the lack of Police on the roads which makes you feel safe. walking the streets looking for food on saturday night I would have been alot more secure had I atleast seen 1 patrol car - none we were on the streets 6.30 10.30 saturday night

Travelling to catch up with family so a convenient location for us to stay and spend our days with the family. Beautiful Gateway Park Walk along the Murray River with spectacular sculptures depicting dreaming stories! A great activity to share with family. Lunch at Henri's Bakery - fresh, made-on-the-spot sandwiches, delicious!

I went to Wodonga to see the Army Museum at Bandiana which was excellent! Well organised, plenty of interesting exhibits, and very helpful staff. We spent 2+hours there. Had some extra time, so visted Lake Hume and the weir, which were very impressive. Then called in at Bonagilla Migrant Museum, on a whim, and surprisingly found it absolutely fascinating. Plus there were hundreds of kangaroos on the grounds. We came away from Bonagilla with a new appreciation of Australia's post war migrants. A moving experience for us.V

The only thing a little disappointing was the water pressure for the shower - it was more like a trickle than a flow of water. However, I’m from Perth and family who are from here tell me water saving is a big issue so no worries for 1 night. Friendly staff and great location across the road from the tavern and not far to convenience store/petrol station. Highly recommend!KylieAustralia
