Everything was good except the pool was very small and my kids wanted to use too, but there was already so many guests in the pool so we couldn’t use it

We were put next to a room that was having a new bathtub installed at 8am.
We were there for a hospital visit and wanted to sleep and check out at 11.
Renovation started at 8 am.
We should have been put away from the renovations.
Asked about what time we planned to leave.
Lots of empty rooms.

We were there for meetings but didn't have a lot of time; however, we did explore a few shops where we found very friendly people and unique gifts to take home. Peace by Chocolate and a unique antique/craft store were our favourites.

Antigonish is a quaint and cozy town.
Antigonish is a quaint and cozy town. The people you meet are kind and welcoming. As a university town you will encounter many students amongst your daily travels and they are just as nice as the locals. Friendly faces at every turn. The food scene, with local restaurants and cafes, is incredible - we stayed 5 days and did not have a bad meal! Main St has cute local shops and James St has your staple fast food places - Tim Hortons, McDdonalds, Subway, Pita Pit. All of which are within walking distance of eachother. I love this place.

Antigonish has its own vibe going on.
Antigonish has its own vibe going on. Very friendly, laid back with all the amenities of a big city. I will definitely visit again. Loved the bakery and restaurant attached to the Hotel. Homemade gives comforting feeling on a road trip. If I win the Lottery I will move there. LOL I want to see more on the next visit!

It was a beautiful new facility, but because of poor construction the walls and floors were not insulated properly. I did not get a good night's sleep because of the guest above me. I could here them walking around, talking etc. Finally called front desk and complained

Ended up here during Fiona, although we had no power, (no fault of hotel) the staff made it as comfortable as they could for us in a very difficult situation. I would certainly stay here again the next time we're through.

Very small, nicely located for beaches (if you are lucky with the weather). But other than that nothing else to do there. A few shops and restaurants, close early. No touristy shops. ** water tastes better than in Halifax !! **
lovely drive around the cape to New Glasgow - very scenic.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean & tidy, with way more amenities than I had expected for the price. Water was nice and hot to shower with great water pressure. This Inn is located on one of the busier streets in town, close to multiple restaurants and within walking distance of just about everything. We're from the area, but I would say this is a great spot to stay for anyone who is looking to explore & learn more about Antigonish & it's culture, while ultimately not breaking the bank. :)
Clayton and Diane and Reaghan in the office were always available, cheerful and helpful, with coffee and creamers and local directions. Housekeeping was unobtrusively attentive. Much nearby is walkable, like the Snow Queen diner, the St. FX campus (for theatre or sporting events), and even Main Street is walkable in nice weather (we encountered rain and so drove for meals on Main Street during our visit). Antigonish is a nice launching pad for Cape Breton after a drive up from Halifax.
You can order breakfast the night before and it will be ready for you at the time you indicate. The staff will even remind you to put the order in which is a nice touch. There is a cute open field behind the property and a park. Right off a main road and easy to find. There is a steak house across the street open later then most places in downtown Antigonish. Comfortable bed and the water gets hot and stays hot!
Private, cozy place to spend time with family. Loved that there is a mini split for a comfortable temperature. We stayed one night in December while visiting our son who studies at StFX University. This place is near Antigonish, but nestled on the waterfront in a little Acadian Community. We would definitely consider renting again for a future stay. Should be awesome in the summer time as well!
Beautiful, peaceful place. The rooms were amazing and so much thought and detail put into the room. Linda and Rick are wonderful people. I enjoyed chatting with them very much. The breakfast was amazing and I especially enjoyed Linda's homemade blueberry scones. I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely stay here when I am in Antigonish.
Very nice hotel. My partner had to teach an online class while we were there and the staff was very helpful in getting him set up in a business room with high speed internet access. Nice room, easy access from the highway plenty of parking. The lobby features has a nice bar and lounge with a small menu available.
I really enjoy staying in motels and this one was one of the better ones I've been in. The room was very spacious, it was clean, easy to get breakfast, the breakfast was good, it is just off the highway but far enough away that it's quiet, and Antigonish is just down the road.
I have stayed at this motel a few times because I attended teachers' conferences in Antigonish. The motel itself is fine, the staff are wonderful, and it is great that you are within walking distance of downtown Antigonish, restaurants etc.
The accessible room was great and the chair lift for the pool was amazing for the members of our party in wheelchairs. Great location for access to Antigonish but also to the highway. The staff was friendly and responsive.
A small family owned-operated inn with 8 rooms. A bit out of town, but very quiet. Our room had many little extras such as robes, slippers, shoe horn, umbrella. Nice continental breakfast, friendly owner.
The beds were so comfortable. The hotel was very clean and smelled amazing. The breakfast included was more then expected. They had alot to choose from. Amazing.
The location is great. It was very clean and had all the amenities you would expect at a regular hotel. The bed was very firm, some may like that but some may not.
