Not a lot there has station with groceries the hotel and an ice cream shack (not open) I believe the area is good for fishing so it depends what you’re looking for we only wanted a stop over to get a few ours sleep
The woman at the desk was very helpful. We were disappointed there was not a breakfast and none to be found for many miles. The store across the street does serve food but the service is exceptionally slow and the place looks unkempt and not the cleanest. There are not many places to stay between Prince Rupert and Dease Lake. We were lucky to have this clean and modest priced place to stay.
This is a wonderful stay! Deedee was host and manager and made us feel very welcome. She offered helpful information about the inn as well as the area. The room is nicely furnished and equipped. We would recommend it highly. Doug, an employee here, had a nice conversation with us and filled us in on some interesting sights nearby.
We booked in January for June, and didn't know what to expect while driving the Cassiar Highway. We were pleasantly surprised with the Northway. It is very clean, comfortable, has a mini kitchen in the room, bathroom was clean (very important to us). We had a great sleep and would recommend this hotel for sure.
A surprisingly good motel on a remote section of BC Highway 37. Rooms were of good size and quality, the staff were friendly and helpful, the barbecue area was fun, and it is situated very nearby the limited local amenities (gas bar, food truck, take-out Chinese food, grocery and liquor store).
For the only game in town, the Northway Motor Inn went beyond expectations offering a comfortable, clean and quiet accommodation. The staff were lovely and made great recommendations for food from a local business. Would definitely recommend staying there if you’re in Dease Lake for any reason.
This is such a clean little hotel. They are flexible, accommodating and have a lovely kitchenette. We always stay at Nothway while travelling through Dease Lake for sled dog races.
The staff were warm people, we felt very welcome. There were places to take the dogs out. The staff pointed us toward a trail and lake very near by. We would stay there again
I liked the hospitality of the hotel. The innkeeper was very friendly. The room was comfortable and had the basics. The takeout menu and the TV channel guide were bonuses.
This place is a gem for Dease Lake. The proprietors are extremely friendly and accommodating. They have clean rooms and some pet friendly suites as well.
