This was my first time in a 'fully automatic' hotel where login is done at a machine in the entrance... But it was very logical and smooth. The room was big, even with a small kitchen, and had a wonderful surprise - a relax chair! Great idea. The 'Mongolian Grill' restaurant that is part of the hotel was also offering really nice food.

The Martinshof is a well-known hotel with 2 restaurants in Zuchwil, offering easy access by car and public bus. The old town of Solothurn is only a 10-minute walk away.

Big room. Very comfy beds (new from last year) and pillows. Fresh bathroom. Very good Breakfast. Good price for Switzerland. Good location since we want to stay in Zuchwil. 15 minutes walk to Solothurn along the river. Lots of free parking. 2 restaurants, Italian and Mexican. We tried the Mexican and that was good.

Surrounded by a large garden, au jardin is a 20-minute walk from the centre of Solothurn and a 5-minute walk from Solothurn Train Station.

I didn't have breakfast at the hotel. I don't know if it was included or not. The place is quiet and beautiful in a park, but noisy sometimes in the morning due to maintenance works on the golf course.

This is a really fantastic hotel in the perfect Solothurn location. Staff are great. Beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds.
