I love it! Lonely beach and you can only hear the sea and the birds. The details of the house are beautiful. Yesterday we had some delicious spinach ravioli and the pizza was incredible, thanks Luca. We will be back soon.

Reception staff were excellent. Very friendly and happy to help. I arrived very early due yo my overnight flight and Reception were able to check me into the hotel room so I could unwind and relax.

Loved the bed, the style and how quaint the premises look! I had an incredibly good sleep and the additional green blanket felt heavenly. The hotel is located in a development area subject to not so nice areas, but in a few years it will look amazing. Close to Playa Dormida beach and the beach itself is quiet, there are very few sellers, and if you love to watch planes depart and arrive, that's a perfect spot for. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the airport, though I consider paying $25.000 COP for a taxi is expensive. I walked from the airport to the hotel, it was about 20 minutes away, I do not recommend doing it at night, during the day it's all good to go, I travelled solo and felt secure, even when I walked through the railway to arrive to the hotel. Hotel was in low occupation, food was really good and it was the perfect spot to escape from the city and relax. They are building a rooftop bar, I will look forward to go back and see it to enjoy the sunset!

Overall a pleasant stay.
The staff is professional - although not overly friendly.
The rooms are clean , the food in the restaurant is very good and the direct access to the beach can't be beat. Rooms had AC which was really needed and for the most part the setting is very quiet. I didn't use the pool but there is a small pool you will have almost all to yourself.
Hotel West Plaza is located on the beachfront in Santa Marta, 300 metres from Bello Horizonte and 1.4 km from Santa Marta Cathedral.
