Perfect for a stay before/ after tortuguero! Simple, but very clean and comfortable hotel with extraordinary friendly and supportive stuff.

We even were allowed to let the suitcases with them for our night at tortuguero, as we did not feel comfortable with letting them in the car and the ferry does not have big luggage capacity. Thank you so much again!

Great experience to stay in the jungle and hearing the forest's activity . A dream to stay here for a couple of days at least. Nice people, good food. Loved the coconut lemonade. Enjoyed the walk with the guide. If you want to experience Costa rica, this can be a nice place to enjoy.

I would deffinately come back. The room/bungalow was just like on pictures. Good sleep, no mosquitos:)) Salamander itself is a very nicely preserved garden or peice of rainforest with multiple trees and flowers. Among others: avocado, mango, star fruit, cocoa. Incredible experience with humming birds flying around you at breakfast as they stop by to drink nectar from flowers right next to the terrace.
