Emanuel thank you for your kind hospitality, the room was clean and quiet
breakfast was the best and it was so pleseant that we stayed for dinner, for a rather relative small amount extra you get a huge dinner which was very good and couldnt even finish up our plates.
Emanuel was so helpful with directing me to outdoor clothing shops and attractions.

Feldberg is a beautiful town and when there is snow, it most definately would be a nice ski-resort. However, we forgot to order the snow 😉. Better luck next time 😊 However Titisee and Schluchsee a nearby if you want to make an excursion. Even so, we enjoyed our stay in Feldberg.

The hotel was in great location but the other parameters were bad - the service was bad ' the staff were not nice and not ready to help , the breakfast was very poor - we were exttremely dissapointed of this hotel as it had great recommendations which turned our not to be true !!!
Feldberg as a town was not an interesting place and there was nothing there to see or do - maybe for children but not for couples !!!

We hiked there in July- views were tremendous on all sides, and enjoyed the cable car ride up the mountain. There were some easy walking routes and cemented paths making it easy for children or those without good hiking shoes. And there were also paths which were rocky and steeper for the more able hikers.

A beautiful city to explore in.
A beautiful city to explore in. The highlands of the black forest is nature at its best. We are not professional hikers and didn't have the right shoes but nevertheless we walked and saw a lot of places on foot. Starting from the House of Nature, we rode the cable car to the Bismarck monument and onward to the summit. What a spectacular view from there of the alps and the black forest. Then we ventured the tracks going down to the Feldsee,a serene place. As we just stayed a night there, we only had the chance to see these places. We shall be back and stay longer next time.
Bare bones room. Clean, nice small bathroom, but there was only a bed and table in the room. No TV, and WIFI was HORRIBLE if you could connect. Cell reception was poor in the area for telecom users. Breakfast (10 euros per person) was a nice buffet, however, you had to clean your table and dishes. Top floor was only accessible by stairs. This is a FAMILY retreat hotel, which is great for families, but not older travelers. Restaurants are 2k's (25 min) away and very good but the walk back up the hill can be tiring after a day of hiking.
Martin and Anna were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome on our visit. The room was large enough for myself, wife and son who slept in a separate toddler bed. There are lots of outdoor activities for children (including a huge trampoline) and the breakfast was great. If you enjoy walking, there is an amazing trail located minutes from the hotel with picturesque views. Ideally, you need a car to reach Schwarzwald-Hotel Kraeutle.
We will definitely return to further explore the area!
The building and appartments are stunning. Best ski chalet I've stayed in. We had a ground floor apartment which was a fantastic size for the 2 of us and our dog. Kitchen had everything you needed and a big fridge / freezer for food.
The location was great as you could just walk out of the hotel and straight into the forest. Or walk into the village (and tourist information) in a few mins. Its well located near some of the key lakes and mountains in the region.
This place is AMAZING
I traveled with my husband and our 2 kids. This place had everything we needed. A beautiful apartment with a green forest view to the backyard. The backyard had some games for the kids and a small trampoline which kept them busy when we enjoyed the hotel breakfast. The host was super nice and very helpful with tips. Even did our laundry because the one in our apartment building was broken.
Of course the lake opposite the hotel is beautiful and a wonderful place to walk around or just sit and enjoy. The breakfast as well as the other food in the location was exceptional. Comfortable size, nicely furnished accommodation with good storage space and terrace. Location in nature close to walking/hiking trails and great view. The staff at Hotel Schlehdorn were kind, also offered information and welcome drink on arrival. (Checking in/out takes place in this hotel a few kilometres away from the accommodation).
We were riding the Gipfeltrail with mtb. This hotel was our first stop, we started from Neustadt. It is on the route and it is all you want and need. Breakfast with a nice fire place. The room is large with balcony, the shower is big enough for 2, the view is beautiful and the staff is more than great.
It is rare these days to find a fine hotel with an excellent restaurant. The room was immaculate clean, and with very nice modern decor inside a Alp German style building. The food was fantastic with an excellent choice of wines, including local ones. The staff, super friendly and full of good energy.
The breakfast was perfect, the staff were friendly. It is 5 to10 minutes with car to the main ski lifts of Feldberg and the view of the hotel was brilliant. The room was super clean and the size of the room was very ideal for a family of four. Thank you, gladly again!
All fine, don't expect luxury but a solid hotel. Warm welcome, good choice for breakfast. Friendly staff also very nice with our child.. Pool area was fine too. Nice location with large parking.
The hotel was so well thought out from the decore to the l’atout of the rooms The hotel staff was very kind. The breakfast was excellent and had very high quality ingredients and variety.
Great breakfast at the nearby hotel (about 5 min walk or 1 min drive). The apartment was clean and fully equipped. The rooftop pool was charming and the SPA facilities were very clean.
Good location to reach multiple sights relatively fast by a vehicle (e.g. Freiburg - 40 mins, Todtnau - 20 mins, etc). Clean room and environment. Close supermarket and restaurants.
The hotel's location is great, it has a nice pool and spa area, the breakfast was excellent, a variety of choices and the stuff were very nice and friendly.
