I have booked 2 rooms for a group of friends staying over in Kevelaer. They all have been happy with the size of the room and cleanliness. Staff - lady at reception - was friendly and helpful. Nice location in the center of historic Kevelaer. Great value for money!

We stayed here by chance on a long drive across the Netherlands and Germany after another hotel let us down. Absolutely loved it. The castle is wonderful and the room was quiet and very comfortable. Some nice forest walks around. Very helpful staff. Restful sound of water trickling into the moat at night. Quirky beer cellar. Loved the honesty bar. Convenient free parking. Little town nearby has supermarket and restaurants. Very dog friendly.

it was 2 nights stay in Kevelaer and on the 2nd day dedicated to worship GOD by participating 2x the holy masses, 1x rosary pray, visit the main church , in between lunch in e the Golden Swan restaurant, which is very good taste. in Parkhotel we got the simple buffet breakfast, but it is satisfied not a lavished one of course . Wonderful little hotel about 20mins from Weeze airport.
Wonderful little hotel about 20mins from Weeze airport. Great staff very helpful and room and breakfast was just perfect. The only downside was the main train line to Düsseldorf was under maintenance so we had to replan our journey but hotel helped with advice.

We booked this hotel as we had an early flight home from Weeze airport. Getting to the hotel after such a long day and finding our room absolutely spotless, welcoming and peaceful was wonderful! We both slept really well, the room was lovely and quiet and we easily made our (number 73) bus connection from Kevelear to Weeze first thing in the morning. Thank you, we hope to come back to take the children to the nearby Irrland park : )

Nice looking hotel and with good design. Family room was spacious comfortable and clean and a nice a view on the neighboring part. Reception has limited opening hours but receptionist was nice and helpful. Restaurant at the ground floor, independent from the hotel, has a nice terrace for drinks or meals. Though in week end was a little bit noisy with loud music in the evening but not too late into the night. Overall good room for the price.

The terrace gets evening sun so it was a good place to sit and watch the sun go down. Located just off a major road, it was a convenient base to explore the area, in particular the Roman city at Xanten and Kevelaer. We took our own bikes and did part of the HeideRoute (heather route), taking us into Arcen. Overall, highly recommended.

Also have a lounge self service open all evening so you can chill out in their lovely inner garden and terrace. Nice way to finish the day. It is about a 20 minute walk to the city center but if you have your bike or rent one from them maybe 5 minutes. So glad I found this alternative to a bigger less personal one.Karen
