The couple are very kind and and had offered us extremely warm service. We couldn't find any taxis when we arrived the coach station and the owner of the house picked us up immediately when he knew that. All in all, the owner of the house helped us a lot when we lived there for two days. I am sure I will be back to re-book this house if I travel to Denmark next year.

It was such a hyggelig summerhouse at a perfect location in the forest, close to the sea in Ebeltoft. Spacious, bright, with superb outside terrace and green space. Helpful and flexible hosts, thanks a lot for a (all too short) stay!

Super holiday for families, culture vultures and those who want to relax in an interesting location. Plenty of day trips, supermarkets, events and shopping as well as areas to go walking, cycling or simply relaxing at the beach depending on preference. My main reason for this trip was the frigate, i would recommend any shiplover to go there. To see all details and visit the whole exibition you should plan with a half days time 3-4 hrs min. Very nice also the old town centre with nice restaurants and icecream Bars.I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it very much.

We visited in winter so this was a quiet time.
We visited in winter so this was a quiet time. The main purpose of the visit was to explore the Frigate Jylland - If you are interested in naval history this is well with a visit - there is a small museum next to the ship and experts are on hand to answer your questions. All decks of the ship are accessible. Despite being out of season the museum was well attended, and the museum staff were friendly. At this time of year the town is very quiet, but we could still find places to eat and prices aren’t ridiculously high. The area seems very safe and people are trusting - we felt welcomed wherever we went. If we visit again we’ll probably go in summer so we can enjoy longer days outside.

From the house it is a short walk to the town.
From the house it is a short walk to the town. There you should take a guided tour of the Frigate Jylland and visit the Glass Museum where you watch glass items being made and exhibition of all things glass. The old town has the interesting Town Hall and also a Dye Museum retained in its entirety and the only one of its kind. We attended a service in the delightful church. Also we walked through the beautiful National Park to the Ree Park Safari (9kms) which has most wild animals that you can get very close to, or cycle or go by taxi. There was also a music festival. A welcoming and calming smell in the whole building, very spacious rooms with a balcony. Nicely decorated. Do try the restaurant and sit after dinner around the fire place for some complimentary marsh-mellows and cosy seats. The staff is very welcoming and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location was right in the centre of Ebeltoft so very easy to get to. Ebeltoft is a beautiful little town with enchanting cobbled streets and beautiful sunsets.
