1) Breakfast was really good for EUR 10. It is a to-order type of buffet. They kept giving me food.
2) The room was really nice, the bed was fantastic. It is just a bit weird that the shower is part of the room and not with the toilet. It is ok since I am alone but very weird if I am with another person.
3) The hotel is very pretty, it is a posh old house in the city center.

Everything. If it was closer to the historic centre it would be perfect but we knew the location when we booked so no surprise. The breakfast choice was superb. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Hotel was spotlessly clean.

Probably a city which doesn't get many tourists, but certainly deserves more. To be honest, until planning our interrail trip, I had never heard of the place, but it was necessary to stay there to get across the border next day.
Plaza Alta, high up in the town as the name would perhaps suggest, was jumping, and everyone was eating outside.

Badajoz seems to me to be a very under appreciated city very much in the shadow of its Extremaduran neighbours Merida and Caceres, yet it is as steeped in history as both of these two more popular tourist destinations. Culturally it has so much to offer: two excellent art galleries, Museo de Bellas Artes and MEIAC which have very contrasting collections of mainly local art; The Moorish Alcazaba, with sweeping views of the city from its imposing, extensive walls and within these walls the Archaeological Museum and gardens; Nightlife in the old town is particularly lively with excellent tapas; There are numerous cultural events throughout the year including a yearly festival of Flamenco and Fado plus a Jazz Festival.
Behind the slightly run down facade the city presents lies a wealth of experiences.

Many people say Badjoz is modern and ugly with not much to see. There are lots of historical sites like the town walls, gates and castles plus the many gardens situated in parks. The Alta Square was great with three good cafe/restaurants. If you have a hire car visit nearby Elvas in Portugal.

Whilst we appreciated the room was cheap the quality of the room was poor. It weas very dated, small, smelled of smoke, the furniture had cigarette burn marks on all of it.
The bathroom ok but again tired and in need of redecoration.
The staff weren't very helpful with regards to what to do, where to eat etc
It had parking on site which was useful.

Robbed at the hotel, during breakfast, I returned to Portugal with no money, no documents and no credit cards. The Hotel Director refused to help me even though I was left without any means of survival. I returned to Portugal with little gas, no money, no credit cards and no documents.

Badajoz is a beatiful city, very quiet and very well communicated. You can get by bus to almost anywhere in city. I had to go there for a short admin procedure and had to stay the night. People are very helpful and willing to help visitors. Great place!
Country property requires huge amount of work to get to 4 star level. Arrived and no people at the hotel desk and even front door was closed. Someone came much later after about 30 mins. Room was backing onto other rooms which were basically thin and you could hear everything from neighbour. Also to make matters worse the room also backed into area where pigs were pigs were kept and their grunting kept you up all night.
I've used this hotel before and am glad to see that not much has changed. It is in a very central location for all the hustle and bustle of Badajoz city yet in a side street that allows for little noise disturbance. There is parking at the hotel but booking is essential, as is a city map or satellite navigation to find it.
I liked the cleanliness and the proximity to the center. The staff was very accommodating but take advice that the parking is not included in the reservation and is a bit expensive. Because it is close to a hospital, parking outside is a little tricky but 1km away you have Carrefour's parking so....
Perfect service, room was so big I got lost.
Excellent value and breakfast
Had a workout 630am excellent training room (I own my own personal training studio in Switzerland) and this equipment is extremely good.
Great job on this hotel.
Good service, great rooms, workout area, breakfast for a king

You can't find the hotel using Waze bc it's on a pedestrian street, use Google maps. The parking garage is on the same street and private. You can drive on the pedestrian street to access the garage. Well worth 10€! Everything was great. I even had a mini-fridge and full size bathtub.
The location, the cleanliness. Incredible staff, very helpful. Was situated in a beautiful room looking at the entrance of the hotel and nearby park. Beds were exceptional also. Very very comfortable stay and will be back for sure.
A basic clean Hostal close to everything in Badajoz. Staff (Tomás and Miguer 😁) were helpful at all times. Also, we were allowed to utilise room past check out time whilst we visited city sights. They even called a taxi for us.
A vvery comfortable and modern hotel, with spacious rooms, very pleasantly furnished. It was perfect for our needs, in a very convenient location as we drove down to Southern Spain and Portugal.
Charming exterior and reception area! Got the feeling Hemingway may have slept there. My room was clean and very basic. The hotel met my expectations. The staff was nice and quite helpful.
Hotel is in the center, building is old but beautiful, very easy to find it, room was very clean and quiet, price was fair for the service. I can come back to this hotel)
Hotel is in a convenient location to wander in to the historic part of Badajoz. The hotel has all the facilities you would expect and the rooms are a good size and clean.
Location, hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable. The staff friendly. Parking underground was easy and secure. Our 2nd stay here on our way to The Algarve, Portugal.
The hotel is very well located in the centre of the city. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. It was excellent value for money.
The hotel is clean and comfortable and a fairly easy walk to attractions and eateries. I really enjoyed the spacious balcony terrace attached to my room.
