The welcome and amazing food! We loved the home cooking (breakfast and dinner) - perfect for pilgrims. We came away feeling totally refreshed and revived. The Casa is about 20 mins off the Camino path, but worth every step. A brilliant stay!

The most comfortable bed I experienced in Northern Spain - very comfortable cotton sheets, light but warm duvet, comfy mattress. This is a standard "box" hotel, so no special charm, but solid comfort.

The hotel is located relatively close to the airport and allows reaching Bilbao in a few minutes drive. I was positively surprised that the hotel be in a rather leafy surrounding, almost giving the impression of being located far away from urban areas. The room was very quiet. The hotel offers outdoor areas to have a drink or eat alfresco, even during rainy times. I was also positively surprised to realise that there is a restaurant at the hotel. Although I did not get to have diner here, the ambience looked very inviting.

This 17th-century palace offers wonderful views in a a quiet, natural setting. It is situated 12 km from the centre of Bilbao, 5 km from Bilbao Sondika Airport.

Property was very nice with many original features. It is surrounded by a golf course so it had a country feel but was close to Bilbao and other tourist attractions. Check in and house keeping staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and well equipped with kettle and fridge our room had an outdoor balcony. Good breakfast.

The Hotel Matsa B&B is a former wine press in the countryside just outside Bilbao. There is free Wi-Fi and free onsite parking. The rooms are all individually decorated in a rural style.

Fabulous property in an idilic spot. Far exceeded our expectations. We made the mistake of not checking in before our arrival but a quick phone call soon had a that resolved. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Ainara, the hotel “manager” provided us with excellent recommendations of places to visit and restaurants. This was definitely a relaxing and wonderful stay and we would love to come back.

Very reasonably priced. Excellent value for money. Spacious room by European standards. Firm bed for a good night's sleep. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. A short drive from Bilbao airport. What else could you want? The front desk is only staffed until 9:30 p.m. but owners were very accommodating for our late arrival, providing the code to a lockbox for our room keys.

This rural hotel is located in the quiet village of Morga, a municipality partly included in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve.

Initially thought breakfast was included when I booked, it was not. It was a very basic Continental Style Buffet. I had 2 cups of coffee which cost $3. It's a nice new, clean hotel close to the airport with free shuttle services. Only one restaurant in proximity ( hotel next to it) which had poor ratings. .
