Hotel Murrieta is located in Logroño’s old town, on the Santiago Pilgrimage Route. It offers bright, functional rooms with air conditioning, central heating and free WiFi.
Perfect location for passing through on the camino.
Capital of La Rioja independent community, Logroño is all about the delicious red wine cultivated in surrounding vineyards. Visiting a bodega (or two) demonstrates the care that goes into winemaking: the Franco-Españolas wine cellar is in a historic building with hundreds of barrels in underground cellars, while Juan Alcorta and Darien outside the city offer tastings in more modern structures.
You can also sample a glass of Rioja in the city’s many tapas restaurants and pavement cafés. Calle Portales is the main street and Calle Mayor also has several bars offering good nightlife.
Logroño is on the Way of St James and Santiago El Real church is a favoured stop for pilgrims. Its tower, together with the twin spires of the Co-Cathedral of Santa Maria de la Redonda, become beautifully reflected beside colourful waterfront houses in the peaceful River Ebro flowing under a stone bridge.
The covered bullring and the conference centre are north-east of the bridge, and a shady park is to the west. The Murallas del Revellín are 15th-century fortification remains, overlooked by the La Rioja Parliament building and near La Rioja Museum, detailing the region’s history.
Logroño train station is on the city outskirts and Booking.com offers guest houses nearby, as well as cheap apartments and boutique hotels near Logroño-Agoncillo Airport.

Very nice town. We went there during the grape harvest festival, it was full of people, bars, restaurant, really nice.
The town is placed in a very beautiful region and very close to one of the best medieval towns in Spain: Laguardia.
Totally recommended.

Loved strolling around the old monuments, the churches, the open spaces with wonderful shops, restaurants and great food. People are friendly and you feel safe being out even at night. Also loved walking along the Ebro river and birdwatching with a friend, learning a bit more about the Camino a Santiago de Compostela route and the amazing landscape outside the city.

Don't be fooled.
Don't be fooled. Many of the photographs of Logrono make it seem unattractive and perhaps a bit urban. The reality is that it has a GREAT nightlife and is a really fun place to go. "Eat, drink and be merry" ought to be the motto for this town, the pincho district is very lively and it is all too easy to empty your pockets paying for food and drink at the many tapas bars in the Calle Laurel area.
Very pleasantly surprised, the whole family loves Logrono now!

My husband wanted to visit the Rioja region as it is his favourite wine. We visited the Campo Viejo vineyard fairly close to our hotel which was very interesting and he bought several bottles. The staff at the vineyard were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It was an excellent day. We weren't able to take the tour but our visit was enough.
Logrono town was interesting, with lots of bars and restaurants. Tapas etc. It was very clean and there was very little traffic.

Amazing city!! Perfect for foodies and wine lovers! Easy to get around by foot and by bus, tge people are very friendly, not too touristy (at least in mid- February hahaha!) Probably out favourite discovery in all of Spain 😍
Perfect location. Has EVERYTHING one might need at a 3 minutes walking distance. Two big playgrounds 50 meters away and a swiming pool for the hot days.
Spacious apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. Perfectely cleaned.
the apartment has all thr amenities for a very confortable stay without the need to worry if something will be missing.
Safe underground parking.
Best choice when visit Logroño.
Excellent location. In the heart of everything but very quiet hotel especially on a lively Friday night. Having free charging onsite for our electric car was a real bonus. Very good English spoken by all staff. Logrono is a great place to stay. Try the Japanese restaurant near Hotel Bracos, it's excellent and we don't normally rave about Japanese food
Great location! Walking distance downtown and to every place of interest that we wanted to visit at Logroño. The room had a private bathroom which made our stay really comfortable as the other rooms didn’t hace this advantage. The balcony has a two window system which isolates all the noise from the outside and makes it very pleasant to sleep at night.
Access to kitchenette (just a microwave, coffee maker - need pods, and a fridge but nice to have). Old building with lots of character just off the Camino near the Iron Bridge and close to Calle del Laurel (a must for Logroño visitors). Very clean and well-looked after.
Very comfortable and spacious room. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good parking facility on site. Very close to the major restaurant area of Logroño as well as all other sights of the old town.
The hotel was in a great location and surrounded by amenities, like a supermarket and pharmacy. The staff were friendly. The cafeteria served delicious meals and was open until 10pm. The room was clean.
