We liked that we had a balcony and we could enjoy a cigarette while seeing the Tibidabo mountain. The neighborhood is mostly quiet (one night the garbage trucks came to pick up the garbage and that was disturbing but it is not the fault of the hotel). The shower cabin was perfectly insulated - not a single drop spilled outside. The breakfast was amazing - many options to choose from (including vegan and vegetarian meals). Also, the dinning area was very cozy. Housekeeping came every day and changed the bedsheets and towels every two days. Personnel speaks English very good.

Getting to the city centre was approximately 20mins. We were only there for a day so our only advice on tickets is the family tickets which gives 8 single rides for ten euros was perfect for the four us.
