We absolutely loved our stay in Salobre. The staff was really helpfull & friendly, the food was delicious with every day something different and you always had a spot at the pool.
Salobre is definitely in our top 3 of hotel i've been already and would come back when visiting Gran Canaria again.

Great location and facilities. Lovely breakfast buffet and none of the usual chaos. Staff friendly. Room very well located near the pool and restaurant. No towels reserving loungers before 10- pool staff removed any towels put down before then. Not that there was any lack of loungers and we had our own comfy ones ( but only 2 in a room for 3 so small niggle). Gym cool and well equipped ( couldn’t get the treadmill to restart after accidentally pulling the emergency cord though) and well located for a relatively flat and super scenic 6k run around the port. Landscaping and grounds meticulously maintained and tennis courts etc easy to book and in reasonably playable condition ( a little bumpy). Overall excellent.

After driving and boating around the southern coast of Gran Canaria I am pretty sure Playa del Cura is the best resort for those who want a less commercial, laid-back beach vacation. The weather in the area is the best we experienced on our travels around the south coast, there are great (affordable) hidden-gem restuarants walking distance inside and near the resort, and the sound of the waves lulls you to sleep, rather than the sound of thumping club music. If you want to party, this is not the place for you. But if you love nature, fitness, swimming in the clear sea and laying in the sun on a quiet beach I highly recommend it.JuliaFinland - 10Scored 10

Nice quiet location, good swimming beach with Life Guards on duty. A short trek around a trail to another nice beach and Café. (no Life Guards here). Centro Commercial in Playa del Cura had a variety of Restaurants and a good Spar Supermarket and Pharmacy. Bus connections to Mogan or Puerto Rica etc very frequent and efficient. This location had been a Spanish armed-forces training area in previous years but is now extensively developed with hotels and apartments. The town's other commercial facilities are limited and the location is somewhat offgrid so that private transport should be considered , even for nearby access. We loved the cosy and unoccupied beach with stunning sunset views. It's really easy to get around Playa del Cura. We enjoyed the long walkings along the coast leading us to some beautiful places as Playa de Amadores. Nice beach ,never too crowded.
Nice beach ,never too crowded. Couple of decent restaurants in Playa Del Cura itself and a 10 min bus ride brings you to the Port de Mogan which is well worth visiting for a stroll / drink / meal.

The apartment decor and furnishings was of a high standard. We loved sitting on the large balcony, looking out to sea and enjoying the warmth of the sun. The location is great, very close to several restaurants and the bus stops. We used the reliable bus service to explore lots of the south coast of Gran Canaria, but always pleased to return to the tranquility of Playa Del Cura.

Contact with Marianna was the best (thank you!). The apartment was really clean and we were even welcomed with some food and wine, wow thank you :-) Playa del Cura is really calm and relaxing. Really close you will have Spar and some restaurants and cafeteria. Free parking is also really close. To the beach is also 5 minutes walk. We would recommend this apartment to everyone!

Access is a bit weird with no roads outside the hotel so it’s a short walk from a small parking area. Once into the hotel it’s really good, all the balconys overlook the garden and then out to sea. Sitting on the balcony or in bed with the sliding door open you get a gentle sea sound. The rooms were good with just enough stuff to make your stay comfy.

You can reach 3 beaches on foot: Playa del Cura, Playa de Tauro and the busy Playa de Amadores. We loved the undeveloped, laid-back Playa de Tauro and the restaurant-bar on it, the Pio Pio.
