Fantastic chateau with fantastic atmosphere! So relaxed! Felt very welcome and we were taken good care of, had nice tour inside and heard the history of the place. Estate has beautiful landscape which is maintained with care, wonderful pathways to walk - we got lucky and saw the deer! They have chicken in the garden - if there are some eggs in the morning, you might be lucky and get them for your breakfast omelet :)

Amfreville is a small community in a very nice fairly rural area . It is primarily residential with an equestrian centre . 5 minutes to a small supermarket . I only had an overnight stop so my experience was limited
