We had stayed at La Porte des Cevennes before and it was even better than we remembered. The location is great, with amazing views from our room and the panoramic lounge. The indoor pool was superb. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Loved 'Croquette' the cat! The food at dinner was exceptional! Every mouthful was delicious. We definitely aim to return one day.

Very spacious apartment, clean. Each room had its own bathroom and TV (kids loved it!).
We could use the kitchen which was properly equipped for a short stay.
We used the swimming pool - which is very nice, and well maintained (very clean water).
We also went to the river down the hotel. It is quite steep to get there (maybe not for older people or very young children), but once there the kids had a lot of fun.
The staff is extremely nice & helpful, they allowed us to stay a bit longer the next day in the common premises (breakfast room) and to use the swimming pool.

The Host is very kind, helpful and obliging - she made our stay thoroughly relaxing and was always happy to help with questions and recommendations with places to go for food and as a tourist. Room was fantastic, loads of space, very clean, fridge for drinks, and your can walk outside straight into a great pool. Ample parking on site and the view from the breakfast terrace is simply breath-taking. Breakfast is very good too!

La Maisonnette de Cabanis is located in a bamboo enclosed field, this made it very quiet and peaceful, the cabin is very small but had plenty of equipment, outside was table and chairs, a jacuzzi and loungers. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was served to us on our patio which was good, fresh croissants, bread, juice, tea ... a good start to our journey the following day.

We planned our stay in Anduze to enjoy the local steam train trip from Anduze to Saint Jean du Gard. Our hosts Sara and Jonathon proved to be wonderful. The conversation (in English) flowed and many stories were enjoyed. A recommended local restaurant for dinner was enjoyed plus breakfast on the terrace back at our accommodation. We planned two nights but due to car issues, only managed one.

This is a small friendly town you can see everything in the centre within half an hour: the fountain, the park, the churches, and small restaurants everywhere. Good place to relax and and socialize with family or friends. The city is great for both solo travelers and groups, but if you don't have a car you will have a hard time going out because the roads outside the centre have no sidewalks and here they drive very fast.

Cute little town with a local market on Thursday.
Cute little town with a local market on Thursday. It is worth to stop by and tour around when they have the market for some local souvenirs. Parking could be difficult during the busy times but there are about 100 free spots close to town. Walking around the city is quite easy and does not require special skills. We stopped by Tife Tafe on a Thursday night and even though French is the language they prefer, we did get a solid dinner with only a few bits of French knowledge. The waiter really tried to speak slowly and made sure we understood the options of the food and drink menu. Anduze seems to be a 'touristy' town with all its pro's and con's.

Lovely village on the river with many places to eat.
Lovely village on the river with many places to eat. We used the steam train to St Jean , but St Jean itself is not really worth visiting, and the views from the train were average. Would only recommend if you are a steam train enthusiast.
The location. The rooms. The facilities. The breakfast. All top. The owners of this accommodation were very kind, polite, and they gave us good information. This place is for ones who don't like a big hotel and want to relax. They offer also a share living room and dining room where you can sit working or having a conversation. However, since the accommodation is renovated from an old building, the stairs at the entrance might be difficult for someone who has a problem with legs or knees; the stairs are not high but you have to be careful.
We loved staying in this beautiful apartment in Anduze. The owner was so flexible on arrival time and greeted us himself when we got there. He is very friendly and showed us around. Every part of the apartment is hand-crafted and looks stunning. so many little extra things as well to make your stay more comfortable. it’s much larger than we were expecting too. The location is right off the main square and parking nearby also. we would definitely stay again!
The apartment was very spacious and clean, located in a beautiful green setting. Basic but functional kitchen and very practical parking facilities. Benjamin is a great host, very helpful and friendly. Excellent location to visit the many activities in the area, as a family we particularly enjoyed canoeing to the Pont du Gard and the velorail. Lovely river swimming points nearby. A beautiful stay overall, very recommendable!
This apartment consists of two large rooms, a bedroom and a living room with kitchen. It's a basement, so don't expect it to have warm sunny light, but there was a small light bulbs on the floor everywhere and it was well lit. The rooms were clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The apartment located in the heart of Anduze, but far enough from noisy streets. Easy to go everywhere.
We were really surprised by this hotel. To be honest, we just booked it on the way to Barcelona for one night and didn't expect from it too much after some bad experience in other French hotels, but this hotel was really great.
Everything was super clean, renovated, people working in hotel were polite and parking was also great for our big SUV.
So overall great hotel.
This is an excellent location for exploring the Nat'l Parc des Cévennes, as well as Pond du Gard and many other nearby towns such as Uzés. Jane is really helpful and offers a very substantial breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and clean. It is also less than a 10 min. drive to the Bambouseraie, a very interesting botanical garden.
The location was superb and the hotel made excellent use of it with a wonderful large deck to sit on and enjoy the view. The swimming pool was a real bonus in a very spacious area with a view. The dinners and breakfasts were excellent. The room and bed were very comfortable and very clean. We would love to stay here again.
The hotel is lovely. Recently updated but retains its original, historic details. Our room was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional, with freshly prepared eggs and other homemade items. Ivalo and Mikael are charming and gracious hosts. Their welcome tray was a thoughtful and unexpected treat!
The hotel was a bit disappointing. The room was a good size but the air conditioner was only moderately helpful in the heatwave. I found the atmosphere slick but not welcoming. The location on the busy road was a major negative. Town lacks charm
This place is wonderful, just what we we had looked for: authentic hotel, family managed and a very delicious kitchen. Pool area is super relaxing and we could even go for a swim mid April. Definitely want to come back to this beautiful place.
The restaurant: food was sublime. The location: great views from almost every window and terrace. The wifi: strong signal everywhere we tried to connect. The tranquility: one relatively minor road passes the rear of the hotel.
The hosts were friendly, very helpful and talkative. Sarah will literally run to get you what you need.
The place is really nice as well. A beautiful garden, a nice terrace for the breakfast and a little pool to relax.
I was initially put off by the look of the hotel. Undecorated externally, motorbike just inside the door. But it's really clean, very comfortable and great proprietor. Absolutely central in Anduze.
Good breakfast.
