Every thing in the hotel is marvellous and luxurious! The room is well and conveniently equipped with all necessary items like usb plugs. The bathroom has fantastic shower, bath robes. The garden is beautiful and full of herbs. Both Restaurants are great. The best part is staff who goes extra miles to help you. Morgan at reception is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Zagnar in breakfast is so lovely who’s proud of her work and make the breakfast time enjoyable

I have food allergises and they provided special bread. Very pleasant staff and the room was a suite with walk in shower. Bed was very comfortable all for a great price. Highly recommend will definitely return as our #1 pick for Cognac hotel.

The area is very quiet and is surrounded by Grapevines for the production of Cognac. We found a lovely restaurant in Saintes to eat but I cannot remember the name.
We visited Saintes, Cognac and Talmont-sur-Gironde which was a very charming little village with narrow winding streets and various places to eat.
