Perfect for an overnight stop - we were confused that we were not in the main hotel but was shown the rooms the opposite side of the street and the room was very nice with tea and coffee making facilities. It was not a problem. Staff were very helpful. And very close to restaurants for an evening meal

The garden is beautiful and full of herbs. Both Restaurants are great. The best part is staff who goes extra miles to help you. Morgan at reception is exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is a lovely part of the world.
This is a lovely part of the world. Very peaceful with stunning countryside. A short drive away is Cognac with its magnificent selection of restaurants, The temperature is great and well the wine and cognac exceptional, as you would expect.
The hotel is a kind of prefabricated building with rooms on 2 floors. The room was fine, nothing special but clean and satisfactory. Reception was friendly and efficient. The bathroom is poky, not ventilated and unattractive. Toilet is in a small separate room. Parking was readily available. The restaurant was less appealing. I did not stop for breakfast, influenced by the previous night's dinner experience.
Loved the art. The hotel has very traditional rooms particularly the room with an amazing collection of different cognacs. Then there is the art and design in the bedrooms and corridors and even on the outside. See two photos. Much of the art is quirky with a sense of humor. Also there was good communication from the hotel and the staff facilitated a booking of a restaurant in town which we enjoyed.
Staff amicable and honest. We mainly dealt with a deputy reception manager who tried to make us comfortbale given our disappointment by upgrading our room. He agreed with our concerns and tried to make amends, which was appreciated. He gave us information on local restaurants which was helpful. The view from the hotel is great and the location to Cognac is convenient with a car.
This is the 4th time we have stayed here and as always, it was an excellent experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great as well. No hesitation in recommending this hotel if you are travelling through Cognac or the region.
the property was excellent with a pool and a restaurant and bar in place. the staff was very friendly and the Directeur, David Peaudeau “Le Grand Frommage” runs his hotel very well and professionally. the meals are excellent and le petit déjeuner excellent!
The hotel is great after a long day's drive and has what you need. The cafe / bakery just down the road is good. Town centre is 20mins walk. Good sound insulation as the hotel is on quite a noisy road.
Staff friendliness was much above the average which was cool! Overall comfortable hotel with big parking. Super tasty and varied breakfast. Nice kids play zone with a slide in lobby.
staff was very friendly and professional. the room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast had plenty of choice. could not expect more from an Ibis Budget Hotel.
It's a brand new hotel, and its facilities are well-maintained.
Very clean, and every element, from the bedding to the bathroom, is new and a pleasure to use.
