Very close to the Shuttle for an early getaway. Room was comfortable and had a good nights sleep. Bathroom was good with a strong shower. Safe parking close to room. Didnt have breakfast but usually these are good. Beer was very welcoming in bar and good quality

Guines is near Calais but out in delightful countryside. This Logis has far more faclities in summer - swimming pool, gardens, and much much more. We have never stayed there in summer but you can get all the details on their website. We stay there as it is very handy for Eurotunnel whilst out of Calais. There are several restaurants in Guines. Guines was a sad little place that had obviously seen better...
Guines was a sad little place that had obviously seen better days. The marketplace was being renovated but the only place we saw to get a drink was a run down bar with a poor old lady still working behind it. The highlight of the "town" was the fabulous bakery which seemed to be open all hours and had the most amazing choice of bread and lovely things! Guines was a large village that appeared to have most facilities travellers would need. It is within easy reach of Calais and the coast and although surrounded by agricultural land was pleasant. It is obviously a working village rather than a tourist trap, which we preferred. they are some nice walks available from the tourist office. Guines (the town) is very quiet and not much going on but...
Guines (the town) is very quiet and not much going on but the site has great facilities. It’s very near Calais and both Wissant, with its fantastic beach, and St Omer are easy to reach, both lovely for days out. The Caps Griz and Blanc have wonderful views and are great for walks. The frites shack at Wissant is a treat!
